  • Publication number: 20080152819
Abstract: The invention relates to a device for coating workpieces which preferably consist at least partially of wood, wood-based materials, synthetic material or the like, said device comprising an application means for applying a curable mass, in particular a varnish, and a conveying device for causing a relative movement between said application means and the respective workpiece. The device according to the invention is characterized in that said application means has at least one micro-nozzle for applying said curable mass, and preferably at least one micro-valve.

  • Publication number: 20080106568
Abstract: The invention relates to a device (1) for patterning workpieces (2), which preferably consist at least partially of wood, wood materials or the like, having an ink-jet printing means (10) having a plurality of nozzles (12) from which drops of ink can be expelled, a workpiece carrier means (20) for carrying the workpiece (2) to be patterned, a conveyor device for bringing about a relative movement between the workpiece (2) to be patterned and the printing means (10). The device according to the invention is characterised in that it further has at least one image detection sensor (46).

  • Patent number: 6129027
Abstract: This invention concerns a processing machine, particularly for panel-shaped workpieces of wood or wood materials, which consists of: one or more processing stations which essentially lie in the same plane; at least one working unit which can travel over the work stations in three axes perpendicular to one another, and, a number of bearing rails upon which the displaceable carriage units are arranged in the plane of the work stations. The bearing rails have electrical and pneumatic supply interfaces for the carriage units and the supply interfaces are arranged linearly along the longitudinal direction of the bearing rail.

  • Patent number: 5333086
Abstract: A thin film two-pole inductive magnetic head for a computer disk drive assembly. The head comprises a substrate, a first pole formed over the substrate, a gap layer formed over the first pole and a second pole formed over the gap layer. The first and second poles have their distal ends coupled together in a yoke region, while their proximal ends terminate at their tips in an air bearing surface. A leading surface of the first pole extends back toward the yoke region at an acute angle to the air bearing surface. The head reduces the amplitude and high frequency content of secondary pulses in a readback waveform so as to ease the task of electronically isolating the main pulses for downstream processing of the read data.

  • Patent number: 5240740
Abstract: A two-pole inductive magnetic head for a computer disk drive assembly. The head generates a stream of main pulses and secondary pulses in a readback waveform when reading data from a magnetic medium, each bit of read data represented by a respective main pulse. The head includes an integrating feature which reduces the amplitude and high frequency content of the secondary pulses in the readback waveform so as to ease the task of electronically isolating the main pulses for downstream processing of the read data.

  • Patent number: 4543868
Abstract: The invention relates to a device for holding and advancing the stock to be sliced on a cold meat slicing machine. At the free end of a base mounted pivotably on the carriage for the stock to be sliced and slidably displaceable transversely to the direction of displacement of the carriage, there is likewise pivotably mounted a gripper with at least two fingers protruding from its pivot axis, and one curved, pointed needle protruding from each finger. The gripper furthermore comprises a manual lever by means of which the curved needles may be pressed into the stock to be sliced.
