  • Patent number: 11256472
Abstract: In general, the subject matter described in this disclosure can be embodied in methods, systems, and program products. A computing device stores reference song characterization data and receives digital audio data. The computing device determines whether the digital audio data represents music and then performs a different process to recognize that the digital audio data represents a particular reference song. The computing device then outputs an indication of the particular reference song.

  • Patent number: 10761802
Abstract: In general, the subject matter described in this disclosure can be embodied in methods, systems, and program products for indicating a reference song. A computing device stores reference song characterization data that identifies a plurality of audio characteristics for each reference song in a plurality of reference songs. The computing device receives digital audio data that represents audio recorded by a microphone, converts the digital audio data from time-domain format into frequency-domain format, and uses the digital audio data in the frequency-domain format in a music-characterization process. In response to determining that characterization values for the digital audio data are most relevant to characterization values for a particular reference song, the computing device outputs an indication of the particular reference song.

  • Patent number: 7867540
Abstract: An aroma composition comprising a first component selected from the group consisting of 4-hydroxy-2,5-dimethyl-3(2H)furanone, 3-hydroxy-2-methyl-4H-pyran-4-one, 2-ethyl-4-hydroxy-5-methyl-3(2H)furanone, 4-hydroxy-5-methyl-3(2H)furanone, a sulfur-containing analogue of any of the foregoing, and any combination, thereof; a second component selected from the group consisting of 2-furanmethanethiol, 2-methyl-3-furanthiol, 5-methyl-2-furanmethanthiol, and any combination, thereof; and a third component selected from the group consisting of 2-(1-mercaptoethyl)furan, 2-furanethanethiol, bis-(2-furfuryl) disulfide, a furanthiol disulfide, and any combination, thereof.

  • Publication number: 20070114153
Abstract: Display packaging constructions incorporating a plastic blister cavity, sandwiched between layers of paperboard material, preferably corrugated paperboard material, are disclosed. Variations of the basic construction include a high-density packaging configuration, display packages having security features for precluding unauthorized access to the interior of the display package, and a reclosable construction to enable the display package to be used as a storage container. When corrugated paperboard is used for the layers, the corrugations may be arranged to extend transversely to one another, to resist warping caused during the heat sealing process. A plastic blister construction is provided, having a forward stabilizing foot, and a rear concavity, for receiving a similar foot from a like blister, for facilitated nested packing together of pluralities of such blisters.

  • Patent number: 5154032
Abstract: A mortarless building block system employs primary blocks with projection on the top sides and recesses on the bottom sides to lock different courses of primary blocks together in a wall. The primary blocks in one course are rotated by 180.degree. with respect to the primary blocks in the next course. Each primary block has a generally rectangular main portion and a bulbous portion of the same width as the main portion. The bulbous portion is joined to the main portion at one end thereof, and the other end of the main portion has a concave socket region which receives the bulbous portion of another primary block. The bulbous portion may be shaped as an incomplete regular dodecagon (12-sided polygon), irregular polygon, or cylinder. In addition to the primary blocks, the building block system includes covers for the top course of primary blocks and auxiliary blocks corresponding to the bulbous portions of the primary blocks.
