  • Publication number: 20150204152
Abstract: For drilling holes in soil or rock material and for fixing an anchor in a borehole, an expanding element fixed to a drill or anchor rod and a spreading element are introduced with the rod into the soil or rock material, the spreading element is expanded to butt against the wall of the borehole after completion thereof by the rod. The expanding element being retracted into the spreading element. The rod is secured by an anchor plate on an outer side of the borehole. After expansion of the spreading element, the rod is subjected to a rotary movement in the direction of the interior of the borehole until there is abutment with the interior of the borehole. The rod is fixed to the outside of the borehole by bracing the anchor plate by means of a nut.

  • Publication number: 20130098689
Abstract: In a two-part drilling tool for the percussive or rotary percussive drilling of holes in soil material or rock material, including a drill head (1) and an adapter part (7), which is fixed in an interior of the drill head (1) by way of interacting, complementary threads (11, 14) and is intended for providing the coupling to a drill string, wherein an end face (3) of the drill head (1) that is remote from a borehole interior rests on a complementarily formed stop or support surface of the adapter part (7), the end face (3) of the drill head (1) that is remote from the borehole interior and the stop or support surface of the adapter part (7) interacting therewith comprise complementarily formed wedge-shaped surfaces (4, 6) with end teeth (5, 8), and a lead angle (?1) of the wedge-shaped surfaces (4, 6) is smaller than a lead angle (?2) of an internal thread of the drill head (1) or the external thread interacting therewith of the adapter part (7) or of the drill string.

  • Publication number: 20120247835
Abstract: In a method for drilling holes in soil or rock material, wherein a borehole is formed by a drill bit by a percussive and/or rotational movement, a casing adjoining the drill bit is introduced into the borehole and material that is removed is introduced into the annular space formed between the outer circumference of the drill rod and the inner circumference of the casing via at least one passage opening formed between the drill bit and the casing, and is discharged from the borehole, the impact energy of the drill rod is applied to the drill bit via an adapter cooperating with the drill bit and a drill rod, and that the impact energy is applied to the drill bit partially via an impact shoulder of the adapter and partially via a threaded connection between the adapter and the drill bit.

  • Publication number: 20120139237
Abstract: In a pipe connection between a first pipe and a second pipe, wherein an end section of the one pipe is designed as a pointed end and embraced by an end section of the other pipe, which end section is in the form of a sleeve end, wherein the pointed end has a reduced diameter in comparison to the pipe circumference, it is provided that a depression extending at least over a partial region of the circumference of the pointed end is formed on that end region of the pointed end which faces away from the pipe end.

  • Publication number: 20100282513
Abstract: Disclosed are a method and a device for drilling, particularly percussion drilling or rotationally drilling, a hole (2) in ground or rock material and forming a brace in said hole (2). According to the invention, a borehole (2) is formed by a bit (7) that is mounted on drilling rods (1), and a brace is formed by at least one expanding element (12) that is mounted along the circumference of the drilling rods (1) and is brought, especially by expanding the same, into a position in which the expanding element (12) penetrates or rests against the material (22) surrounding the borehole (2), thus allowing for reliable bracing immediately after creating a borehole (2).

  • Patent number: 7320371
Abstract: A method and device for boring, particularly percussion boring or rotary percussion boring, a hole in soil or rock material and for forming an anchoring. A borehole is formed by inserting a drill bit, and a casing tube is placed inside the borehole during the boring process. Once the borehole is completed, the boring rods are detached from the drill bit and removed from the borehole. The periphery of the casing tube is provided with a number of passage openings for discharging hardenable material. A tensioning device for the anchor, particularly an anchor plate and a screw that can be screwed onto the casing tube, can be fixed to the end of the casing tube protruding from the borehole. Anchoring or fixing elements for anchoring the casing tube on the surrounding inner wall of the borehole are provided, in particular, on the end area of the casing tube oriented toward the drill bit.

  • Publication number: 20060084489
Abstract: A matching game that requires the pairing of designs on game pieces wherein each design is complex and not easily identifiable. Multiple game pieces are provided with a design on the front and some type of confirmation information on the back. Matching designs have identical types and shapes however, the matching designs are different in coloring or shading, which adds difficulty to the game but also enhances the male-female aspect of the present matching game. In the preferred embodiment, the confirmation information is provided in the form of a barcode on each game piece. When two players believe they have found their match, the players take their game pieces to a verification station, which includes a bar code scanner that reads the bar codes and verifies whether or not a match has been found. The bar codes on matching game pieces can be identical or they may merely be associated with each other through the use of a correlation table that is stored within the scanning device.
