Abstract: The invention relates to a device for coning and/or deconing a container unit having corner fittings for the attachment of twist-locks. The device has a support structure for the container unit. The support structure has two parallel long sides and two end sides. According to the invention, the device also includes a storage station that is located adjacent and outside one of the end sides. There is a first conveyor means along a first of the long sides and a second conveyor means along a second of the long sides. Each conveyor means is arranged to transport twist-locks to and from the corner fittings from and to the storage station. The invention also relates to corresponding methods for coning and deconing, respectively.

Abstract: The invention concerns a container handling device for the temporary storage of containers in unloading and loading. The container handling device is arranged to be able to receive at least one pair of container units with one unit in the pair being situated above the other one. The device has a support structure having a loading platform and a transfer device connected with support structure. The transfer device has a grip frame to surround the container unit, which grip frame has inside dimensions so that a movement of a container unit through the same is possible. The invention also concerns a use of the container handling device as well as a method for unloading and loading by the invented container handling device.

The sensor may be a container security device. An arming device may be coupled with the sensor to transmit a unique identifier to the sensor. The arming device may be a remote arming plug. The sensor may combine the unique identifier with a tag key to create an arming key. As part of the arming sequence, the sensor may enter a pre-armed state. After the door of the container is closed, the sensor may count down and change to an armed state when the countdown ends. The arming device may be removably coupled to the container security device. The arming device may also include a bolt. The arming device and/or the bolt may be coupled with a door securing device.

Abstract: A container and contents monitoring system includes a device, a reader, a server, a software backbone and a receptacle for housing a plurality of sensors. The device communicates with the plurality of sensors and the reader in order to determine the condition of the container and its contents. The reader transmits the information from the device to the server. The device determines if a container condition has occurred based on at least one sensor located on or in the container.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a twist-lock (104a-d) and a method for controlling a twist-lock to be connected to a container (102) for locking two containers together. The method comprises to match the remotely controlled twist-lock (104a-d) with the container (102), wherein unique identifiers are registered for said twist-lock and said container, storing said identifier information in a database. Further the unlocking function of said twist-lock is remotely controllable by means of a remote control unit (104).
