Abstract: A stand comprising: one or more trays pivotally attached to one or more hinge bars; wherein at least one of the one or more trays is pivotally attached to a frame; wherein the frame comprises a top member and two sub-frame members hingedly attached to said top member, wherein each sub-frame member comprises two legs and top and bottom cross members; and wherein the one or more trays are rotatable from a stowed position to an open, operational position and may be locked in the operational position by a locking mechanism comprises a hook disposed on an edge of one of the trays which is engaged with a mating hook disposed in one of the cross-members.

Abstract: An apparatus and method is disclosed for greatly increasing the efficiency of heater treater units, such as those used in heavy oil recovery, wherein exhaust air from the heater treater is circulated around incoming heavy oil lines from a freewater knockout unit to preheat the heavy oil reducing the required temperature increment provided by the heater treater to achieve a predetermined temperature for water/oil separation.
