    Abstract: A device for being driven into an earthen surface. The device includes a lubrication system having a manifold. The manifold includes first orifices that deliver lubricant to the interior space of the pile body. The first orifices are spaced around a 360-degree circumference of a lower end of the device body at intervals no greater than about 50% of the 360-degree circumference. The manifold also includes second orifices that deliver lubricant to the exterior surface of the device body. The second orifices are spaced around a 360-degree circumference of a lower end of the pile body at intervals no greater than about 50% of the 360-degree circumference.
