The closure is a single integrally-molded spout, cap, hinge assembly joining the spout and the cap, and a tamper evident structure. The closure may also have a membrane and pull-ring, also integrally molded as one piece. The cap may have at least one prop for preventing interference from the cap with the pouring of the contents of the container. Additionally, the spout may have a step for assisting in the prevention of interference from the cap during pouring, and for providing a predetermined sound every time that the cap is opened. Still further, the closure may have an orienting peg for properly orienting the closure on a container.

Abstract: A container having a resealable closure thereon is produced by a method including the steps of providing a closure having a spout and a flange and a stem projecting therefrom, placing the closure about an access area of the container and welding the closure to the container body thereby bonding at least one portion of a hinge to the spout. The closure stem defines an aperture and the cap has a lid and skirt projecting therefrom. The skirt is configured to prevent interference during pouring of the contents of the container. The hinge assembly connects the cap to the spout and allows for reclosable opening of the cap from the spout while maintaining the attachment of the cap with the spout. A tamper-evident structure is formed integrally with the cap including a removable portion secured to the closure by a breakable joint. The closure further includes an orienting projection for orienting the closure on the container at a predetermined location and position.

The opening devices are positioned, closed and marshalled together to form a web or a sheet. The prefabricated opening devices are arranged in rows of length x. Two or more of the opening devices in each row are provided with projections which are placed against corresponding opening devices in a neighboring row and are welded together using ultrasonic means.

Abstract: A sealing device for bag-shaped, liquid containers for sick-care of flexible material. An opening for filling or emptying the container is sealed by means of a disc-shaped member which has a tube made in one piece therewith and extending in use towards the interior of the container. One end of the tube adjacent the disc-shaped member being closed by a cover which seals against the outside surface of the disc-shaped member level therewith, and the other end of the tube is sealed by means of a flattening of the tube, to produce a sterile space between the two closed ends of the tube, said flattened portion of the tube extending transversely to the longitudinal direction of the tube to form two tube sidewall portions converging towards the flattened portion of the tube, at least one of said sidewall portions being penetrable by a cannula when inserted through the mouth of the tube and extending through the tube.

These parts are injection molded from different plastic materials, preferably from PVC and polypropylene, respectively, one partially against the other. A tubular portion (12) of the cap part (2) intrudes sealingly into a substantially cylindrical hollow space between an internal and an external sleeve portion (3,4) of the casing part (1).
