At most one of R.sup.1, R.sup.2 and R.sup.3 and at most one of R.sup.4, R.sup.5, R.sup.6 and R.sup.7 is selected from the group consisting of hydroxy and methoxy. M is selected from the group consisting of hydrogen and pharmaceutically acceptable inorganic or organic cations or tautomeric forms thereof. The compounds have immunomodulating activity.
