    Abstract: A revolving piston combustion engine of trochoid type includes a housing composed of a shell with a multiarcuate inner surface and parallel ends and in which a polygonal piston is disposed to be eccentrically rotatable. Inlet and outlet passages are arranged in the housing. The shell is provided with at least one spark plug, the spark gap of which lies between at least two electrodes near the inner surface of the shell.
