  • Publication number: 20230213562
Abstract: Various embodiments of the teachings herein include an apparatus for measuring a magnetic field of a conductor of an electric current. The apparatus may include three magnetic field sensors arranged on a circumference of a non-circular ellipse defined by parallel projection or orthogonal projection of a circle. Three first positions are arranged equidistantly on a circumference of the circle. The three first positions emerge from the parallel projection or the orthogonal projection onto at least three second positions on the ellipse. The three magnetic field sensors are arranged at the three second positions. The magnetic field is measured without using a flux concentrator.

Abstract: Various embodiments of the teachings herein include an apparatus for measuring a magnetic field of a conductor of an electric current. The apparatus may include three magnetic field sensors arranged on a circumference of a non-circular ellipse. The three magnetic field sensors are arranged equidistantly along the circumference of the ellipse. The magnetic field is measured without using a flux concentrator.

  • Patent number: 10917085
Abstract: In a method for actuating reverse-conducting semiconductor switches, a plurality of reverse-conducting semiconductor switches is arranged in a parallel circuit. Gate contacts of switching elements of at least two of the plurality of reverse-conducting semiconductor switches are controlled by actuating the at least two of the reverse-conducting semiconductor switches at least intermittently with different voltages, thereby allowing to influence a behavior of the switching elements of the at least two of the reverse-conducting semiconductor switches in IGBT (Insulated-Gate-Bipolar-Transistor) and a behavior in diode mode.

  • Publication number: 20030058597
Abstract: A power converter device includes a power part accommodated in a first casing, and an electronic part accommodated in a separate second casing. The power part and the electronic part are connected to one another through a signal transmission arrangement, e.g. a cable or a radio communication. The power converter device thus has spatially separated power and electronic parts to realize a thermal separation as well and to enable a more compact overall configuration.

  • Patent number: 5949662
Abstract: An uninterruptable power supply device includes a mains commutation conductor, a voltage intermediate circuit converter having an associated control device, an output filter comprising a transformer with high leakage inductance and filter capacitors, a mains reset device having an associated control device, and a manual bypass switch. A frequency converter (32) from drive technology is used as the converter, an input filter is connected upstream of this frequency converter, and a battery coupling apparatus is connected to its DC busbar connections. In this way, it is possible an uninterruptable power supply device may be provided which uses the technical and economic synergies from drive technology using commercially available components from drive technology and using UPS-specific components.
