  • Patent number: 5275427
Abstract: Fender in particular for bicycles and motorcycles and designed to be fixed to the fork (3,25) and to be curved to surround at a distance the wheel (4) for a certain segment so as to prevent the projection of water and mud caused by rolling of the wheel on the ground from reaching the user of the bicycle or motorcycle. In accordance with the present invention the fender consists of an air tube (17,29) of inflatable material, a support (6,26) to which is fixed one end of the air tube (17,29), fixing means (13,14) designed to fix the support support (6,26) to the fork (3,25) of the bicycle or motorcycle and suitable means for inflating the air tube (17,29).

  • Patent number: 4972524
Abstract: An anti-pickpocket device for pockets of garments, and for trouser pockets in particular, designed to make it extremely difficult to steal objects, for example wallets, from pockets after cutting the outer fabric of the pocket by means, for example, of a knife. According to the invention, the anti-pickpocket device is composed of a metal lattice from which extend at least two connecting elements designed to be secured to different points of the internal fabric of the pocket in such a way that the lattice extends over most of the internal surface of the outer fabric of the pocket, so that it is disposed between the object contained in the pocket and the outer fabric of the pocket.

  • Patent number: 4655623
Abstract: An ink ribbon cassette for winding an ink ribbon from a feed spool to a winding spool is provided. The cassette includes a base with a guide path for receiving a guide projection formed on a support member having a feed spool sleeve. A drive roller and controlling roller are rotatably mounted on the cassette base. A winding spool is rotatably mounted on the feed spool sleeve and biased towards the drive roller, and a feed spool is rotatably mounted on the feed spool sleeve and biased towards the controlling roller. The spool sleeves are positioned so that when the guide projection of the support moves within the guide path the winding spool operatively engages the drive roller and the support member pivots about the guide projection so that when the ribbon is wound from the feed spool to the winding spool, the feed spool maintains engagement with the controlling roller.
