  • Patent number: 6536858
Abstract: A furniture system includes a low-height partition having a horizontal row of discrete attachment sites, such as slots on each side, and having a top surface. A binder bin has a continuous horizontal attachment feature, such as an “L” groove, along an upper portion of its rear side. A bracket system attaches the binder bin to the partition in a raised position, and includes a bent-rod top bracket and bottom brackets configured to engage the slots on opposite sides of the partition. The binder bin is initially attached at a desired location along the partition by selectively engaging the brackets with the slots and by engaging the bracket with the groove. The angle of the binder bin is adjustable with respect to the top surface of the partition by threadably finely adjusting a nut on the brackets.

  • Patent number: 5427992
Abstract: The invention relates to a process for preparing solutions of oligomeric methylaluminoxanes, which contain trimethylaluminum in the free and/or complexed form, in hydrocarbons by partial hydrolysis of trimethylaluminum with water and to carrying out this process in a rotor/stator reaction machine. The product obtained is suitable for preparing highly active polymerization catalysts.

  • Patent number: 5093977
Abstract: A device is provided for the automatic processing of differently shaped workpieces having a controlled tool-changing capability which permits a quick change of the set of tools in the device. This enables optimum adjustment of the tools to be made economically outside the production line. It also enables several different moveable and interchangeable tool frames to be located and moved on a lower frame into a variety of configurations. One tool frame is used at a time and when it is required to switch, several simple steps enable one tool frame to be moved to one side of the lower frame and a second tool frame to be moved into the operating position.

  • Patent number: 4926539
Abstract: An improved device for processing workpieces is provided having a lower tool which receives a workpiece and which can be moved against an upper tool where the workpiece can be processed. It also has a lifting frame with a lifting table and a separate tool frame which can be mounted on the lifting frame in an easily releasable manner. The present device uses a modular construction to enable the tool frames to be easily interchanged. The tool frame consists of a head plate upon which is mounted the upper tool, a base plate upon which is mounted the lower tool and a plurality of columns there-between. The base plate is detachably connected to the tool frame. When a tool frame is to be moved onto the lifting frame, the base plate must be attached to the tool frame. Then the tool frame can be placed onto the columns of the lifting frame.

  • Patent number: 4920959
Abstract: Any external fixture for bone synthesis is provided with at least one bridge member, a plurality of holders are orientable and screw clampable on this bridge member by clamping surfaces. The holders have cylindrical holder openings which are closable by an operating screw and thereby serve as clamp holders, each for one bone nail and/or one bone screw. The cylindrical holder openings are bounded by a one piece connected wall surface and are closable individual or jointly with adjacent holder clamp jaw surfaces on the clamp side, on tightening the operating screw. Thus the cylindrical holder openings are each elastically or plastically deformable by a drill and/or screw guide receiving a bone drill with play, from a layer width - down to a smaller width for clamping. The external fixture affords a simple structure, easy to manufacture and at the same time simple handling during operation.
