  • Patent number: 6599055
Abstract: Connecting element (1) for connecting two components of a partition wall, comprising two clamping flanges (2,3) interconnected by a connecting rod (4). Said element has an asymmetric configuration due to the fact that the clamping flanges (2,3) have different cross sections. At least parts of the contour of the first clamping flange (2) are unrounded while at least certain parts of the contour of the second clamping flange (3) are rounded.

  • Publication number: 20020095902
Abstract: In a wall element (1, 2) for a mobile dividing wall with a wall member (3) and a border profile (4), the said profile comprises a base member (G), which is firmly joined to the wall member (3), and a revolving element (10, 10′) mounted therein to turn around its axis (15). The base member (G) comprises two lips (18) bearing substantially against the revolving element (10, 10′). The revolving element (10, 10′) is coated on part of its surface with burr material (16) and is otherwise provided with at least one further surface structure. Depending on the angular position of the revolving element, the burr material (16) or alternatively the different surface structure or one of the different surface structures is exposed externally between the two lips (18).

  • Patent number: 6415566
Abstract: A mobile partition comprises at least one partition element (2) and at least one at least partly ferromagnetic support post (1). The partition element (2) has two vertical edge sections (6) which comprise magnetic systems (10) for joining the partition element (2) to the at least one support post (1). Said magnetic systems (10) are configured as magnetic strips (11) which extend substantially alongside the edge sections (6) and with their flat surfaces contact the corresponding support post (1). Each magnetic strip is inserted into a concave recess (13) in the edge sections (6) and presents non-magnetic edge areas.

  • Patent number: 6397537
Abstract: Partition wall comprising at least one wall element (5) connected to a column (6) by a connecting element (1). The column (6) has a plurality of grooves distributed along its periphery and suitable for interacting with the connecting element (1). The wall element (5) has a connection profile (9) with at least one groove (11) on the edge side bordering on the column. The connecting element (1) has two clamping flanges (2,3) parallel to each other and interconnected by a connecting rod (4), wherein one flange is received in a groove (15) of the column (6) and the other flange is received in a groove (11) of the wall element (5). One (2) of the clamping flanges (2,3) of the connecting element (1) is received in the corresponding groove (11;15) in a rotationally fixed manner while the other clamping flange (13) is received in the corresponding groove (15;11) in such a way that it can rotate around its longitudinal axis (12) within a predetermined angular area.
