  • Patent number: 5041867
Abstract: A transport device for a microfilm passage camera has a document supply device, and a transport device for further transporting a document in a camera and/or a document discharge device. Each of the document supply device and document transport device have a plurality of rotary members, a plurality of rings arranged so that each of the rotary members abuts against a respective one of the rings, a plurality of transporting rollers arranged so that the rings are mounted in groups on the transporting rollers, a lower guiding sheet limiting from above a document passage and provided with a plurality of perforations through which the rings extend into the document passage. The transporting rollers are driveable with a speed corresponding to filming of a document in the filming station.

  • Patent number: 4998136
Abstract: A continuous microfilming apparatus comprising a filming station, means for feeding documents to be microfilmed to the filming station, means for collecting the documents after they have been filmed, and means for transporting the documents from the filming station to the collecting means and turning the documents over substantially 180.degree. while transporting them, which transporting and turnover means includes a transporting reel defining a turnover path of substantially 180.degree. andd flexible guide means circumscribing the transporting reel substantially over 180.degree. and defining therewith a transporting channel for the documents.

  • Patent number: 4371242
Abstract: In a microfilm reader, an objective lens tube removal or exchanging arrangement which includes a cylindrically shaped supporting casing for the objective lens tube. The objective lens tube is, for focusing purposes, slidably adjustably mounted along its optical axis in the cylindrically shaped supporting casing. The cylindrically shaped supporting casing has an opening which is sufficiently large to permit the removal or exchange of the objective lens tube therethrough in a direction substantially normal to the optical axis of the objective lens.

  • Patent number: 4118121
Abstract: A continuous microfilm camera transporting original sheets to a picture-taking area. Two parallel opposite guide plates within the picture-taking area from a transit slit of variable width for the original sheets. At least one of the plates is movable relative to the other plate and at least one of the plates is transparent. A magnetic attracting strip is attached to at least one of the plates and provides an attractive force bringing the plates together for straightening the original sheet.

  • Patent number: 3975749
Abstract: A continuous microfilming camera wherein the film is trained over a large driven roller so that its emulsion-coated side faces a lens which is installed in a tubular mount. The roller is rotatable about a fixed axis and the mount is reciprocable in the housing of the camera substantially radially of the roller. Two positioning rolls at the front end of the mount contact the emulsion-coated side of that portion of the film which is trained around the roller and are biased against the emulsion-coated side by springs which react against the housing and bear against the mount. The rolls are disposed at the opposite sides of the optical axis of the lens, and the driven roller cooperates with two guide rollers which insure that the film is trained over the major part of the peripheral surface of the driven roller.
