  • Patent number: 10773600
Abstract: An electrical drive unit for a vehicle includes a number of structurally independently designed electrical machines. In each of the electrical machines there is a machine output shaft configured to provide a machine torque, and in each of the electrical machines there is inserted in a receiving region assigned to it and is connected to the receiving unit. The number of the inserted electrical machines is predetermined as a function of a specified value, which is prespecified in advance for an output-side characteristic quantity of the drive unit to be constructed. The number of the inserted electrical machines is between 1 and a maximum number. The electrical drive unit also includes a common main shaft, via which the drive unit is configured to provide a drive unit torque on the output side, and a coupling element, via which the machine output shafts are operationally connected on the driving side to the main shaft to input the machine torques.

  • Patent number: 7111598
Abstract: Swivel actuator device for lift control of a gas exchange valve in a cylinder head of an internal combustion engine comprising a swivel motor having a shaft on which is provided a first operating element having a control path for opening the gas exchange valve, whereby a second operating element having a second control path provided on the first operating element. Due to the arrangement of the swivel actuator device, less electric power is needed at low rotational speeds and processing of the fuel mixture is improved.

  • Patent number: 7007647
Abstract: A rotary actuator device is used to control the stroke of at least two gas exchange valves in a cylinder head of an internal combustion engine. The device includes first and second actuating mechanisms, first and second rocker motors, and a force transfer element. Each actuating mechanism is provided for at least one of the gas exchange valves of the engine. The first rocker motor has a first shaft on which the first actuating mechanism is disposed, and the second rocker motor has a second shaft on which the second actuating mechanism is disposed. The first and the second rocker motors are arranged in a point-mirrored relationship. The force transfer element is disposed between each actuating mechanism and the at least one gas exchange valve.

  • Patent number: 5581208
Abstract: A switching arrangement in motor vehicles for the timed switching-on of inductive consuming devices by a semiconductor power switch timed by a control source has a timing element of the cut-in circuit of the semiconductor power switch that is smaller than the reaction time of the control source. This reaction time is significantly shorter than the rise time of the control voltage of the semiconductor power switch.
