  • Patent number: 8678443
Abstract: A clamping connector for pipes and/or tubes (2) made of a polymer material has at least two pipe/tube connecting elements (3). At least one connecting element (3) includes a plug-in region (5) which is provided with peripheral ribs (4, 4a, 4b), for slidingly connecting to each of a pipe and/or tube end (2a) against which a flange projection (6) abuts. At least one tooth-like projection (7) is disposed on the side of the flange projection (6), which is located opposite to the peripheral ribs (4, 4a, 4b). A free space (8) is provided between the flange projection (6) and the at least one tooth-like projection (7). A plurality of tooth-like projections (7) are disposed so as to be distributed across a periphery of the polymer connecting piece (4). In addition, gaps (9) are disposed between the individual tooth-like projections (7). In addition, the object is solved by means of a clamping connector for pipes and/or tubes (2) made of a polymer material comprising a polymer connecting piece (1) as described above.

  • Publication number: 20110109084
Abstract: A plastic sliding sleeve (3) is used for sliding it onto a connecting piece (2) and for fixing a pipe end piece (5) in a clamping way to the connecting fitting in a clamping position. The sliding sleeve (3) comprises an inner wall (10) that can be applied at least in sections to an outer wall of the pipe end piece (5) in the clamping position. The inner wall (10) comprises at least one circumferential rib (13) which protrudes toward the inside over the remaining inner wall (10) and runs at least along a section of an inner circumference of the sliding sleeve (3). A sliding sleeve is obtained, with which an undesired relative movement between the sliding sleeve and the pipe end section is prevented.

  • Publication number: 20110042941
Abstract: The invention relates to a polymer connecting piece (1) for a clamping connector for pipes and/or tubes (2), made of a polymer material and comprising at least two pipe/tube connecting elements (3). At least one connection element (3) comprises a plug-in area (5) that is provided with peripheral ribs (4, 4a, 4b) and that is used to slide open the end of a pipe and/or tube (2a), to which respectively one flange projection (6) connects. At least one tooth-shaped elevation (7) is arranged on the side of the flange projection (6) opposite the peripheral ribs (4, 4a, 4b). The invention also relates to a clamping connector for pipes and/or tubes (2) made of a polymer material and comprising the inventive polymer connecting piece (1) and a sliding sleeve (10) that can be moved axially in relation to the pipe/tube axis.
