  • Patent number: 7052332
Abstract: A connecting pole for an accumulator having a pole sleeve (1) which can be inserted in a sealed manner into a plastic housing part (8) of an accumulator housing and makes electrical contact with a cell connector (2), and having connecting elements for electrical connection of the pole sleeve (1) to an electrical conductor (3), with the electrical connection being secured by means of a mechanical lock against becoming loose. For this purpose, a contact-making element (5; 9) is provided on the pole sleeve (1) and is firmly connected to it, and on which a locking element (6; 10) can be placed with an interlock and/or a force fit in order to mechanically lock the electrical connection between the pole sleeve (1) and the electrical conductor (3).
    Type: Grant

Date of Patent: May 30, 2006
    Assignee: Dionys Hofmann GmbH

  • Patent number: 4784981
Abstract: The invention relates to a vanadium/phosphorus mixed oxide catalyst, a process for its preparation and its use for the preparation of maleic anhydride. The catalyst according to the invention is prepared by reacting a vanadium(V) compound with phosphoric acid and/or a compound forming phosphoric acid with heating, optionally in the presence of water, and subsequently treating the product obtained after the reaction with organic solvents and/or diluents having reducing activity, optionally in the presence of a promoter, at an elevated temperature.

  • Patent number: 4219388
Abstract: A process for the recovery of maleic anhydride from distillation residues containing the same is described whereby a residue containing phthalic anhydride is added to the residue of maleic anhydride prior to or after distillation of the maleic anhydride residue. By such a process maleic anhydride recovery is improved and the distillation residue remaining from distillation of the maleic anhydride out of the maleic anhydride residue remains removable by simple mechanical means from the distillation vessel.

  • Patent number: 3946077
Abstract: Hydrocarbons containing from 4 to 20 carbon atoms are oxidized with a gas containing molecular oxygen in the presence of a catalyst and/or auxiliary agents. The resulting reaction mixture is saponified with an aqueous alkaline solution and the resulting alkaline solution containing organic impurities is subjected to liquid phase oxidation with a gas containing molecular oxygen in at least a stoichiometric quantity sufficient for completely burning the organic ingredients, the oxidation taking place in a reaction zone heated to at least 200.degree.C under a pressure sufficient to keep at least some of the water in the liquid phase. The alkali carbonate/bicarbonate solution formed is recycled to the hydrolysis stage.
