    Abstract: The invention relates to preassembled equipment and a method of transporting bulky equipment of a wind power plant from a preassembly site to an installation site, the equipment comprising at least two modules, the method comprising the steps of preassembling the modules onto a support, wherein the modules are placed at a first distance from another, transporting the support with the modules from the preassembly site to the installation site, and at the installation site, displacing the modules and fixing them at the support at a second distance being greater than the first distance While the equipment provides for sufficient space, e.g. for maintenance aisles, in its unpacked form, by transporting it in a preassembled and packed form, transportation and installation are considerably simplified.
