  • Patent number: 5609317
Abstract: A magnetic clamp releasably engageable by magnetism to a metallic surface includes a housing with an interior and opposing resilient walls. A magnetic body is placeable within the interior of the housing. Mechanical interference components are on the magnetic body and housing to permanently secure the magnetic body within the interior of the housing upon placement of the magnetic body within the housing interior.

  • Patent number: 5400992
Abstract: A signage clamp for supporting a sign from a retail display rack having a rod has a rectangular expandable saddle-like jacket having a top wall and opposing side walls with lower edges. Each edge has at least one opposing catch with a tab extending outwardly therefrom. The jacket is guidable over the rod with the tabs forcing the catches outwardly and expanding the jacket as to capture the rod afterwhich the catches secure the jacket to the bar. The tabs may be moved apart to release the jacket from the rod. Support means are on the jacket for supporting the sign on one of the display racks at the point-of-purchase.

  • Patent number: 4613194
Abstract: A mounting block for solderless connectors comprises plural terminal defining conductive elements in the form of individual wire clips received by a housing and arranged in a staggered, overlapping fashion, thus conserving space. The individual terminal clips may be interconnected by means of bridge pins which are inserted into the mounting block and which thereby provide electrical contact between two wire clips.

  • Patent number: 4602841
Abstract: A connector block including wire-formed multiple solderless connectors having an improved wire wrap pin assembly is presented. The block has retainer and body sections with slots and bridge elements to house and define rows and columns of the connectors. The block is further provided with improved wire wrap pins which project from one side of the block and which are in mechanical and electrical contact with the wire-formed solderless connectors. In a preferred embodiment, the wire wrap pins have a rod-like base with an arcuate blade-shaped head portion.

  • Patent number: 4558919
Abstract: Multiple electrical solderless connectors inserted into suitable mounting blocks are arranged in a back to back configuration wherein two blocks are mechanically attached to opposite sides of a retainer. The solderless connectors are electrically interconnected via conductive connecting pins which frictionally engage the retainer and are held tightly by a recess in one of the mounting blocks.

  • Patent number: 4550969
Abstract: A wire-formed multiple terminal solderless connector element is presented. The connector element is comprised of plural loops which are in part defined by straight parallel side sections. The straight side sections of adjacent loops are in abutting contact and adjacent loops are interconnected by base portions which include nonparallel extensions of the straight side sections. The wire conductor receiving portions of the straight side sections have incorporated therein novel installation cutting edges to facilitate insulation removal and insure electrical contact.

  • Patent number: 4533202
Abstract: A mounting block is presented for interconnecting solderless connectors to a printed circuit board. The mounting block for solderless connectors has a retainer and a body section which defines slots for housing terminal defining conductive elements. Incorporated on the retainer section is a connector clip which provides mechanical and electrical connection between the solderless connector loops and a conventional printed circuit board.

  • Patent number: 4408391
Abstract: A tool for inserting a wire between resilient contact portions of a connector. The tool has a handle portion and a reversible stem portion and the stem portion includes a blade extending from opposite sides thereof. The blades are generally in the form of I-beams and, in use, the channels at either side of the beam engage the connector contact portions while the web portion of the beam serves as anvil which supports the wire in the region between the contact during insertion.

  • Patent number: 4381880
Abstract: A mounting block for solderless connectors has a retainer and a body section which defines slots for housing terminal defining conductive elements to thereby define rows and columns of terminals. The conductive elements are formed from wire to define linearly aligned plural loops between which wires may be inserted. The block supports the conductive elements so that relative lateral movement between the loops is precluded.
