  • Patent number: 4868053
Abstract: The present invention relates to thermoplastically processible polymer materials with good mechanical properties and high flame resistance.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: April 13, 1988
Date of Patent: September 19, 1989
    Assignee: Bayer Aktiengesellschaft
Inventors: Christian Ohm, Stephen D. Pask, Wolfgang Wieder, Werner Obrecht, Karl-Heinz Schabel
  • Patent number: 4857616
Abstract: Storage-stable polychloroprene is obtained, by aqueous emulsion polymerization, using xanthogen disulphides as molecular weight regulators, when a peptizing agent is added after the end of the polymerization.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: February 11, 1988
Date of Patent: August 15, 1989
    Assignee: Bayer Aktiengesellschaft
Inventors: Rudiger Musch, Eberhard Muller, Gerhard Hohmann, Karl-Heinz Schabel
  • Patent number: 4745149
Abstract: Thermoplastic elastomers made of 48 to 88% by weight of ethylene-propylene-diene-rubber (EPDM), 10 to 50% by weight of polypropylene (PP) and 2 to 20% by weight of a third polymer and 5 to 60% by weight of softening oil, based on the total of EPDM, PP and the third polymer, and optionally further conventional constituents, have the advantage that the softening oil does not exude.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: September 2, 1986
Date of Patent: May 17, 1988
    Assignee: Bayer Aktiengesellschaft
Inventors: Ulrich Eisele, Dieter Jache, Ludwig Mott, Karl-Heinz Schabel
  • Patent number: 4188196
Abstract: In order to control noxious substances in the air, the air to be monitored is continuously drawn through an absorber. An absorber with a suction pump connected downstream is used for this purpose. A particularly small and compact device composed of an absorber and suction pump may be obtained by forming the inlet valve and outlet valve of the suction pump as O-ring disc valves and by providing the pump drive with a light barrier.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: December 19, 1977
Date of Patent: February 12, 1980
    Assignee: Bayer Aktiengesellschaft
Inventors: Rudolf Casper, Roland Grober, Karl-Heinz Schabel, Klaus Siemer
