    Abstract: The power brake includes an electric motor to provide braking power assistance actuated by a brake pedal and a transmission means interconnecting the brake pedal, the motor and a master cylinder piston, the transmission means being actuated by the brake pedal and having a frictional coupling to actuate the master cylinder piston, the friction of the frictional coupling increasing in proportion to the brake pedal pressure.
