  • Patent number: 12076524
Abstract: An exemplary compounding system and method can include two pump heads for simultaneously drawing two different fluids from at least two separate input containers such that the at least two different fluids are mixed and distributed to an output container. The system can include a manifold that maintains separation of certain of the different fluids until after passing by a first pump and a second pump and/or additional pumps. A junction can be placed in the fluid line downstream of the first and second pumps and/or additional pumps such that all or some of the fluids are mixed prior to output to the output container. The method of using the system can include incorporating software that selects various fluids at certain times and sequences to ensure optimum efficiency and safety for the system, and can continue compounding actions even when an input supply container runs out or otherwise fails to supply a particular fluid/material.

  • Publication number: 20230138535
Abstract: An exemplary compounding system and method can include a transfer set that includes a manifold for assisting in transferring a plurality of ingredients from supply container(s) to a final container. The manifold can include a first channel in fluid communication with at least one primary ingredient, and a second channel in fluid communication with a plurality of secondary ingredients. The first channel and second channel can be in fluid isolation from each other such that the at least one primary ingredient does not mix with the plurality of secondary ingredients within the manifold. The transfer set can include a plurality of inlet lines in fluid communication with the manifold and two outlet lines configured for connection to two separate pumps and eventually being in fluid communication with the final container.

  • Patent number: 11479383
Abstract: A box has a lower container and a cover. The lower container has a rectangular bottom wall, two first side walls opposite to each other and two second side walls opposite to each other. The cover has a rectangular main wall opposite to the bottom wall, two third side walls opposite to each other and two fourth side walls opposite to each other. The third side walls are adjacent and outside an upper portion of the first side walls, respectively. The fourth side walls are adjacent and outside an upper portion of the second side walls, respectively. A respective first tab with a through-hole protrudes downwards from a lower edge of both third side walls. A respective second tab with a through-hole is cut in both first side walls and has a side attached to the respective first side wall. Tamper evident means pass through respective couples of first and second tabs of adjacent third and first walls.
