Abstract: A novel weighing system for cable hoist sheave systems is provided which utilizes a plurality of shear type load cells arranged in a stable 3-point configuration which is capable of supporting side loadings without destroying the vertical reading. Uneven distribution of the material does not affect the stability of the system and an accurate weight of the load is determined.

Abstract: A mould handling, cleaning and preparation apparatus is provided having a bridge movable over a work area, a trolley running lengthwise of the bridge and carrying suspended therefrom a vertical guide frame with an inner telescoping lift column carry tongs at the lower end, a secondary guide frame with a vertically movable cleaning column and rotatable cleaning head is mounted on one side of the main guide frame and a spray head guide rail and vertically moving spray head are mounted on the opposite side of the guide frame.

Abstract: A two drum or similar take-up crane hoist is provided having an intermediate sheave deck between the crane trolley and a lift beam and a combination of vertical and cross-over reeving over the sheave deck so as to support both ends of the lift beam from each of the take-up means separately.
