Abstract: The present invention relates to a glass element (1), which has at least one first plate (2) formed of glass, at least one second plate (3) and at least one sandwich layer (8), wherein the sandwich layer (8) is disposed between the first plate (2) and the second plate (3). The first plate (2) has a first side (4) and a second side (5), wherein the first side (4) is disposed on the sandwich layer (8). An adaptor unit (15) formed of metal is bonded to the first side (4) of the first plate (2). The adaptor unit (15) has a fixing unit (18). The fixing unit is disposed on a through-hole (14) of the second plate (3).
