  • Patent number: 12257211
Abstract: A medical fluid transfer apparatus for transferring hazardous liquid medication in a fluid-tight manner. The apparatus includes a first connector portion having a first passage for fluid-tight connection to a medical syringe; a second connector portion having a second passage for fluid-tight connection to a medical liquid reservoir; a fluid channel extending between the first passage and the second passage, which permits a fluid-conducting transfer of the medication liquid between the syringe and the liquid reservoir; and an equalization container having an equalization volume, which is connected to the liquid reservoir in a fluid-conducting manner, and which is designed to receive a gas volume displaced during transfer of the medication liquid out of the liquid reservoir. The first passage and the second passage are connected to each other in a fluid-conducting manner via the equalization volume, which forms a fluid channel portion of the fluid channel.

  • Patent number: 12049780
Abstract: An actuator for a side door of a motor vehicle is described, which brings about automatic opening or closing of the side door depending on a signal and has a device for holding the side door in any open position. The holding device is realized by a function of the electric motor itself, according to which function the control device initiates a short-circuit function of the motor phases when the motor is activated, which causes a high current flow and thus a high torque for holding the side door open. By short-circuiting the motor phases, no additional components are required, since this is a special activation function of the motor.

  • Publication number: 20240216222
Abstract: A closed system transfer device includes a first adaptor and a second adaptor that attach with one another in a coupled state to form a sealed fluid passage between two reservoirs. The first adaptor can be attached to a first reservoir, and the second adaptor can be attached to a second reservoir. One or both adaptors can include a septum that engages another septum during coupling and decoupling to prevent liquid or vapor from being released to the environment. The device can also include a vent line that equalizes pressure between the two reservoirs. The vent line can include at least one filter to filter gas in device. In addition, or in the alternative, the vent line can be connected in fluid communication with an inflatable membrane that stores gas inside the device and assists in equalizing pressure.

  • Patent number: 11830651
Abstract: Magnetic core for a balun, balun with a magnetic core and method for manufacturing a magnetic core. In particular, a magnetic core is provided comprising multiple core elements, wherein the individual core elements are concentrically arranged. Furthermore, a heat sink is arranged between two adjacent core elements. By using multiple core elements for a magnetic core, the individual core elements can be adapted to different frequency ranges. In this way, the magnetic core may be used for a balun having a broad frequency range. Furthermore, thermal energy generated in the magnetic core can be dissipated by the heat sinks between the individual core elements. In this way, the power handling capability of the magnetic core can be increased.
