  • Publication number: 20240071233
Abstract: Systems and methods of a monitoring node to assist an air navigation service provider (ANSP) in the design of an airspace. The monitoring node collects flight data and performs flight simulations for a large geographic region that is outside of the airspace. The monitoring node receives flight data collected by the ANSP for the airspace. The monitoring node supplements their flight data with the data received from the ANSP and performs flight simulations and generates flight plans for the airspace. The flight simulations and flight plans are transmitted to the ANSP which are then used by the ANSP to design the airspace.

  • Patent number: 11830651
Abstract: Magnetic core for a balun, balun with a magnetic core and method for manufacturing a magnetic core. In particular, a magnetic core is provided comprising multiple core elements, wherein the individual core elements are concentrically arranged. Furthermore, a heat sink is arranged between two adjacent core elements. By using multiple core elements for a magnetic core, the individual core elements can be adapted to different frequency ranges. In this way, the magnetic core may be used for a balun having a broad frequency range. Furthermore, thermal energy generated in the magnetic core can be dissipated by the heat sinks between the individual core elements. In this way, the power handling capability of the magnetic core can be increased.

  • Patent number: 11595077
Abstract: Systems and methods for facilitating compliance with FCC frequency hopping requirements are described. The described innovations may be used to facilitate frequency hopping in a sensor network having a network link with two endpoints, those endpoints comprising a master and a slave, wherein the slave comprises a server and the master comprises a sensor, and wherein the slave transmits one message in response to each master message on the link. All communication over the link may be initiated by the master terminal, requiring only one return message per transmission. A channel to be used for a following reception from the slave terminal is specified at the master, and the specified channel is transmitted from the master to the slave terminal. The slave terminal then uses the specified channel for its next transmission.
