  • Publication number: 20130056139
Abstract: A production of a cast workpiece having increased wear protection in regions, wherein ceramic particles having an average grain size of between 0.2 and 4 mm are mixed with at least one binding agent. Said mixture is applied to a heat-resistant fiber mat at a particular layer thickness, whereby a two-layer structure arises. After hardening of the binding agent, an insert (9) is constructed from the two-layer structure, the shape thereof corresponding to the shape of a surface region of the cast workpiece to be protected. The insert (9) is applied in the casting cavity (8) at the location corresponding to the surface region of the cast workpiece to be protected. The casting cavity (8) is finally filled with casting material, wherein the ceramic particles in the insert (9) are embedded in the casting material.

  • Patent number: 4613267
Abstract: The invention concerns a device for the intermediate stacking of material that is to be cut, wherein the material is supplied from the work table of one work station, especially a jolting table, to a fork lift, on which the material is made into component stacks with boards positioned between them, and thence to another work station, especially the cutting table of a cutting machine. The object of the invention is to provide a device that makes it possible to stack materials that are to be cut without the component stacks getting displaced.

  • Patent number: 4445409
Abstract: A device for cutting paper, cardboard, and similar materials in which the material to be cut is advanced to the desired extent along a cutting table by a feed mechanism and in which an intermediate cut is carried out both when the edges are trimmed and subsequent to one or more main cuts. The device eliminates the necessity of manually removing the waste paper resulting from edge trimming and intermediate cutting. This is made possible by a cutting table consisting of a front part (1) on which the trimmed material (20) rests and a rear table (2) on which the material (3) to be trimmed rests, with the front (1) and rear (2) parts sliding apart to leave a gap (10).
