  • Patent number: 8631569
Abstract: In order to secure wired components of large mass or non-uniform mass distribution safely on a circuit board, without the components needing, as currently usual, to be glued onto the circuit board or held on the circuit board with snap-in holders, integrated into a connection bore for receiving a connection wire, or pin, of an electronic component a holding mechanism for secured holding of the connection wire, or pin. The holding mechanism represents a narrowing in the connection bore to a diameter smaller than that of the connection wire, or pin. The holding mechanism can be implemented, for example, by a connection bore embodied in the form of a bore drilled from one side of the circuit board, not completely through the circuit board. In such case, edge remains as a narrowing, which securely seizes the connection pin of the relevant component and holds the component fixed to the circuit board.

Abstract: A mounting bracket is provided that can be used with off the shelf steel tubing to make sturdy and secure frames securing for heavy equipment to a floor or other structure. Different sizes and shapes of frames are easily made by cutting the steel tubing to different lengths and assembling frames using the cut tubing and brackets. The mounting bracket includes two pairs of sidewalls respectively defining first and second channels set at an angle to one another. The mounting bracket further includes a base protrusion and may be configured such that the first and second channels receive a standard tubular member and the base protrusion fits into an end of the tubular member. The mounting bracket may also include a flange that is integral or part of a mounting bracket assembly.

  • Patent number: 8612285
Abstract: In a computing system, key figures are made available for selection in an electronic data repository. The key figures are selectable by any of a plurality of distributed systems. A request for a key figure value calculation is received from one of the distributed systems, and request is made for an identifier of one of the key figures. Data is accessed for the key figure from at least one electronic data source, and the data is used to compute a value for the key figure. The value for the key figure is stored in an electronic storage location.

  • Publication number: 20130272194
Abstract: A method is provided of performing a session transfer with Single Radio Voice Call Continuity, SRVCC, from a Packet Switched, PS, access to a Circuit Switched, CS, access of a telecommunications session that has been established over the PS access via an IP Multimedia Subsystem, IMS, network. A request for the transfer of the session is received. An indication of a voice codec that is currently being used for the session is obtained from the IMS network. Allocation of resources for the session in the CS access network is initiated, including specifying the voice codec to be used based on the obtained codec indication. Transfer of the session to the CS access is initiated so that the session continues with use of the specified voice codec.

  • Patent number: 8552757
Abstract: The invention concerns a method for detecting a fault in a rotating field machine, in which current components are analysed in a flux-based, particularly rotor-flux-based, coordinate system a flux-forming current component being subjected to a frequency analysis in the flux-based, particularly rotor-flux-based, coordinate system. It is endeavored to provide a simple method for an early detection of faults. For this purpose, a current operating point is detected for at least one predetermined supply frequency (fsp), said operating point being compared to a former operating point.

  • Publication number: 20130259001
Abstract: A technique for handling mobile terminating connection attempts for a mobile terminal for which a change of an association from a first routing node to a second routing node is accompanied by a Circuit Switched (CS) fallback is described. A method implementation of this technique comprises the following steps carried out by the first routing node: receiving a first mobile terminating connection attempt to the mobile terminal, in response to receipt of the first mobile terminating connection attempt, determining that the mobile terminal cannot be reached by the first routing node, determining an identity of the second routing node, and transmitting, to the second routing node, a second mobile terminating connection attempt for a CS connection to the mobile terminal.

  • Publication number: 20130166892
Abstract: In an embodiment, the runtime framework is responsible for executing multidimensional analytical metadata in a runtime environment that is determined by the runtime framework. To generate such a runtime framework, the received multidimensional analytical metadata is analyzed to determine a type of an associated calculation pattern. Based upon the type, subsets of the multidimensional analytical metadata and corresponding runtime decision rules are determined. To execute the subsets, executable conditions corresponding to the multidimensional analytical metadata are identified. Based upon the executable conditions, the calculation pattern associated with the multidimensional analytical metadata is executed by executing the associated subsets, and the runtime framework is generated.

  • Patent number: 8457110
Abstract: A technique for coordinating the registration of a terminal (UE) in circuit-switched (CS) and packet-switched (PS) domains of a multi-operator core network (MOCN) with multiple core networks (CN) is described. According to a method approach, a notification message indicating the necessity of coordinated CS and PS registrations for a terminal (UE) is received from a first core network (CN). In a next step, and based on a global permanent identity (IMSI) associated with the terminal (UE), a second core network (CN) responsible for CS and PS registrations is determined. A registration message for coordinated CS and PS registrations is then sent to the second core network (CN) that has been determined based on the global permanent identity (IMSI).
