    Abstract: A thermostat housing assembly including a base member having a hollow tubular portion with a longitudinal axis and a first end opening disposed substantially on the axis and a second end opening offset from the axis at a predetermined angle, and an intermediate member including a cylindrical body portion and a first end portion in mating engagement with and connected to the second opening so that the intermediate member is disposed at the predetermined angle in relation to the longitudinal axis of the base member. Said intermediate member further includes a second end portion. A top stack member includes a hollow cylindrical portion having a port therethrough between the ends thereof and a cylindrical extension secured about the port.
