Patent number: 7549818Abstract: A U-shaped linear connector having a configuration that conforms to a hollow profile of a spacing profile for insulated glass may include lateral legs with outwardly extending springs. The hollow profile may include a roof surface extending parallel to a bottom surface and lateral walls. The lateral walls may include inverted flanks between the roof surface and lateral walls. The springs may be inclined outwardly and end at the flank and abut the lateral walls and a roof surface of the hollow profile. Therefore, the springs may operate to receive and assist in dispersing a deforming pressure transmitted from the roof surface of the hollow profile to the lateral legs of the linear connector so that a deformation of the lateral walls is avoided as is the collapse inwardly of the laterals walls under pressure.Type: GrantFiled: May 5, 2004Date of Patent: June 23, 2009Assignee: CERA Handelsgesellschaft mbHInventor: Karl Rafeld

Patent number: 6823946Abstract: The invention concerns a horseshoe-like, plate-configured hoof pad of plastic material having two legs that can be adapted to the size of the hoof by means of changing their distance with respect to one another. A connecting bar which can be engaged with the legs of the pad in the area of their ends is configured as surface covering, separate snug-fit-piece completing the circumference of the leg ends completely in order to connect them to each other. The connecting bar includes a circumferential configuration that fills within the leg ends back-cut-recesses in form of flat, lateral bows, wherein the snug-fit-piece can be inserted into the running surface of the leg ends which can be completely integrated in order to keep the leg ends in configurational and force transmitting connection to one another and to make the snug-fit-piece exchangeably removable from the leg ends. At least some of the profile bodies are defined by a border in order to form a depression wherein at least one hoof nail can be placed.Type: GrantFiled: February 5, 2003Date of Patent: November 30, 2004Assignee: Cera Handelsgesellschaft mbHInventors: Karl Rafeld, Gene Ovnicek

Patent number: 5316349Abstract: A tube connecting element of plastic for sanitary and heating purposes, has two connecting sleeve elements each having a bore, which bores are in alignment with respect to one another so as to form a common flow through bore, and into which plastic tubes may be welded. The tube connecting element has a sleeve body between the two connecting sleeve elements and forms therewith a united entirety. The sleeve body is provided with a bore extending perpendicularly to the common bore of the connecting sleeve elements and serves for the reception of a third plastic tube. The common flow through bore connecting the two bores of the connecting sleeve elements is offset with respect to the center line of the two aligned bores in the direction of the outer wall of the T-configurated tube connecting element located oppositely to the perpendicularly extending bore.Type: GrantFiled: July 27, 1992Date of Patent: May 31, 1994Assignee: Karl Rafeld KG Spritzgusswerk, Elektronik und FormenbauInventor: Karl Rafeld

Patent number: 5177920Abstract: The invention relates to a cross-connector of plastic material for hollow profiled window grill bars introduced into the insulating space of an insulated window assembly consisting of two panes. Such a cross-connector consists of four legs positioned perpendicularly to one another and being configured such that they be inserted into the ends of the hollow profiled window grill bars in order to become fixed with these bars which are fixed to the peripheral frame of the window at their other ends. The present invention achieves the advantages of increased flexure and torsional strengths, and lower weight, while using a plastic material containing break-throughs, or alternatively, recesses. In addition, angled pins positioned oblique to the direction of insertion of the cross-connector legs result in a tighter, more permanent connection.Type: GrantFiled: May 17, 1991Date of Patent: January 12, 1993Assignee: Cera Handelsgesellschaft mbHInventor: Karl Rafeld
