  • Patent number: 6246005
Abstract: A radiating coaxial high-frequency cable is provided with openings in the outer conductor which are in the form of slots (5) arranged substantially perpendicular to the cable axis. The slots (5) are arranged in sections which are arranged consecutively without gaps in the longitudinal direction of the cable and whose axial length is dimensioned according to the high-frequency energy to be transmitted. The number of slots (5) is greater in the sections which are farther away from the feed location of the high-frequency energy than in the sections which are closer to the feed location. When the length of the cable is increased, several sections (A) with an identical number of slots are arranged consecutively without gaps, provided that subsequent sections (A) have a larger effectual opening when the system damping between the high-frequency cable and an antenna located outside the cable reaches a predetermined value.

  • Publication number: 20010002117
Abstract: A radiating coaxial high frequency cable includes an inner conductor, insulation surrounding the same, and a tubular outer conductor which is concentric to the inner conductor and arranged over the insulation. The outer conductor includes openings, which are separated from each other and located in sections, which are arranged in uniform succession in the longitudinal direction of the cable. Each section has at least one first opening and the distance between the first openings of two neighboring sections is equivalent to half the wavelength of a first high frequency to be transmitted. To transmit frequencies, characterized by an integer multiple, without trouble, each section has at least a second opening in the outer conductor, whose distance from the first opening is equivalent to a fourth of the wavelength of the first high frequency to be transmitted.

  • Patent number: 5672079
Abstract: A coaxial connector (1) is adapted for use with a coaxial high frequency cable having an external conductor which concentrically surrounds and is spaced from a tube-shaped internal conductor with at least one optical wave guiding element therein. The coaxial connector has an internal contact part (5), which can be electrically connected with the internal conductor of the high frequency cable, and is positioned concentric with a longitudinal axis of the connector. A plug-in element (15), which is electrically connected to the internal contact part (5), is angled with respect to the longitudinal axis of the connector. The plug-in element (15) is surrounded by a ferrule terminal (21), with a space between them, which can be electrically connected to the external conductor of the high frequency cable.

  • Patent number: 5467066
Abstract: In a radiating high-frequency coaxial cable with openings in the outside conductor (6), which are essentially slots (7) cut perpendicular to the cable axis, sections with periodically repeating slot configurations are provided along the cable, which differ in period length with a constant number of slots per period length, and/or differ in the number of slots per period length while the period length remains constant.

  • Patent number: 5276413
Abstract: In a high frequency radiation cable, with groups of openings arranged periodically in the outside conductor of a coaxial cable, the number of openings per periodic length increases in sections along the cable, where the sections are whole number multiples of the periodic length.
