  • Publication number: 20220396513
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a water treatment system, methods for treating water, and products for treating water. In certain embodiments, the present disclosure provides a water treatment system, the system comprising: (i) a chemical disinfectant and a flocculating agent, to treat water; and (ii) a deformable container comprising: an opening to receive water for treatment into the container; an internal storage region for holding an amount of water; a partitionable region fluidly partitionable from the internal storage region for separating the flocculating agent upon settling after exposure to water in the container; and an outlet in fluid connection with the internal storage region to remove water from the container.

  • Patent number: 11325323
Abstract: A method for producing an acoustically resistive structure includes the steps of creating, consolidating and cutting a first layer of reinforcing fibres embedded in a first thermoplastic resin having a first melting point so as to obtain an interlayer, a step of laying a second layer of reinforcing fibres against a first face of the interlayer, a second consolidation step of consolidating the second layer of reinforcing fibres embedded in a second thermoplastic resin having a second consolidation temperature lower than the first melting point of the first resin so as to obtain a non-perforated external layer bound to the interlayer, a step of perforating the external layer and a step of laying an internal layer on a second face of the interlayer. An acoustically resistive structure obtained from the method as well as a sound-absorption panel including such an acoustically resistive structure are also described.

  • Publication number: 20090140567
Abstract: One embodiment of a chair mounted on a swiveling, telescoping column (14) supported by a five-legged base (10), each with its own caster (12). A seat (16) is attached to the top of the swiveling column. A knee support assembly (34) is suspended from the seat base (32). The seat is in a horizontal position, but the seat, back support (18) and knee support may be adjustable as a unit to a forward tilt. Other embodiments are described and shown.

  • Patent number: 6634699
Abstract: In a preferred embodiment, a dual panel vehicle rear closure assembly is actuated by a cable drive assembly. Cables push a rear panel upward from a closed position to a second position above the roof. The cables may then push both panels forward toward a third position to open a rear opening in the roof. A motor pushes the cables through channels to slide the rear panel. Free ends of cables are guided into cable return tubes. Compression assist springs in the tubes are compressed by the cables when the rear panel is in its closed position and provide a counterbalance force to assist in opening the panel. The compression springs may be shorter than the full cable. The shorter springs can be made stronger for applying the balancing forces to the lower portion of the panel travel.
