  • Publication number: 20030090221
Abstract: The unit includes an electro-mechanical drive (1), and an adjustment gearing (6) with a mechanical output (12) for influencing the switching positions of the distributor gearing, which is driven by the electro-mechanical drive. A circuit carrier (13) is provided, on which an electronic circuit (14) for controlling the electro-mechanical drive is realised. A sensor device (16), preferably mounted on the circuit carrier, is connected with the electronic circuit for detecting a movement of the adjustment gearing. Commutator contacts (15) for the electro-mechanical drive are preferably mounted at the circuit carrier.

  • Patent number: 6515228
Abstract: A controller for motor vehicles has a component support with a sealed housing. A flexible printed circuit board is led through the housing onto a component support. Conductors embedded in the component support form an electrical contact with electrical components. When the controller is manufactured, conductors are embedded in the conductor support. The conductor support is attached to the component support. The electrical contacts between the components and the conductors are then manufactured. The conductor support can preferably be separated, and is therefore particularly movable.

  • Publication number: 20020088635
Abstract: A leadthrough configuration has a metallic conductor embedded into a plastic wall. The plastics material and the conductor material have different coefficients of thermal expansion. The conductor is formed in such a way that, when there is a change in temperature, at least one portion remains in the leadthrough path, wherein oppositely directed sealing forces act on the conductor.

  • Publication number: 20020076973
Abstract: The connector system enables forming electrical contact between an electrical component and a support that is formed with a base body on which a flexible printed circuit board is attached. A contact spring is provided on the electrical component. A stop element which is provided above the flexible printed circuit board at a distance from the base body is shaped in such a way that it presses the contact spring against the flexible printed circuit board as it is moved closer to it. However, the build-up of a contact pressure force does not start until the contact zone of the contact spring is already located above the flexible printed circuit board.

  • Publication number: 20020051351
Abstract: A configuration is described for making electrical contact between a flexible printed circuit board disposed on a supporting element and a contact spring has a sliding element which is disposed between the flexible printed circuit board and the contact spring so as to be incapable of being displaced with respect to the supporting element. When the contact spring is pushed onto the supporting element, the contact spring on the sliding element slides into its end position.

  • Patent number: 6289669
Abstract: A lateral-thrust control device for a four-quadrant final-phase guidance control of a missile having lateral-thrust nozzles (10) communicating with a solid-fuel gas generator (13). Each of the nozzles has a valve member (22, 38), whose open and closed states are controlled by a common actuator (12, 30) which is rotatable and axially displaceable to select one nozzle to be supplied with gas from the gas generator while the other nozzles are closed according to the required flight mode. The actuator is configured such that each of the lateral-thrust nozzles (20) can be individually controlled to be active or inactive, intermittently, and independently of one another. In one embodiment, the actuator is a cylindrical piston and in another is a conical member.

  • Patent number: 6280203
Abstract: An electrical contact-making connection has a metallic pin, a base part with a plug-in opening and an electrical conductor routed to the plug-in opening. The plug-in opening includes an oblique wall surface area oriented at an angle a other than zero with respect to a predefined plug-in direction. On this area, the pin is deflected as it is inserted into the plug-in opening in such a way that it comes to rest on at least one further inner wall surface area of the plug-in opening, while exerting a lateral pressure. The conductor is clamped in the plug-in opening by the deformed pin.
