Abstract: In a method or system for printing a separator sheet with a printer or copier, with aid of a first program module at least first data are generated that contain at least information for formatting of elements of at least one separator sheet, the elements to be printed on a register tab associated with the at least one separator sheet. The first data are processed with aid of a second program module so that second data are generated via which print data for generation of a print image on the register tab are added to a print data stream. At least the register tab of the one separator sheet is printed with the print image by the printer or copier.

Abstract: In a system and method for generating a printed document from a plurality of files that respectively comprise data for a predetermined number of pages, a print pre-processing system is provided. The files are stored as an input in a logical input storage region of the system. With the test program module, it is automatically determined which input files are to be joined into a cluster file. By a combination program module, the cluster file is created from the associated input files and stored in a logical cluster storage region. It is tested whether files belonging to a cluster file are already present, and as necessary the cluster is automatically forwarded to a printer for output as a signature.

Abstract: The invention relates to a device for displacement of blocks, with a view to comparison of their dimensions by means of a measuring apparatus, which device includes a support, referred to as the measuring table, which defines a supporting and sliding plane for the blocks, a piece, referred to as the template, situated above the measuring table and bearing stops disposed in order to maintain the blocks in a predetermined position and orientation relative to the measuring apparatus, by cooperating with the lateral faces of the blocks, while preserving their free support on the measuring table, and is carried by a guide device along at least one axis parallel to the pressing plane, this device being characterized in that the template is made up of two separate parts which can be displaced separately from one another.
