    Abstract: The present disclosure is directed toward systems, methods, and non-transitory computer-readable media for generating and providing recommended genealogical content items using a selection-prediction neural network. For example, the disclosed systems utilize a transformer-based selection-prediction neural network to generate selection predictions for genealogical content items according to previous client device interactions as well as genealogical metrics, including content-based genealogical metrics, tree-level genealogical metrics, and/or account-level genealogical metrics. In some cases, the disclosed systems train a selection-prediction neural network by learning network parameters based on features extracted from content items, client device behavior, genealogy trees, and user accounts.

According to the method, a printed mark is converted into a digital binary mark. A number of values are calculated for the digital binary mark. The number of values include at least a perimeter length value and a value describing a characteristic of an intensity histogram for the digital binary mark. A combined representation of the number of values for the digital binary mark are compared against a combined representation of a number of values for a model printed mark. When the combined representation for the digital binary mark is greater than a predefined distance away from the combined representation for the model printed mark, an operation of a printing device that generated the printed mark is adjusted.

It is determined, based upon the scan, that a feature of the subset area meets an expected quality threshold. A first measurement of the subset area is made, and it is determined that the image was produced by a printing device based upon a comparison of the first measurement to a second measurement of a sample image printed by the device. Authenticity of the printed document is determined based upon the expected marking agent response, the expected quality threshold, the expected data, and the comparison of measurements.
