Patent number: 11834355Abstract: The invention relates to a method and system for phosphate recovery from a stream such as waste flow, sewage or another sludge stream. The method comprises the steps of: providing an incoming stream comprising an initial amount of phosphate; dosing/controlling iron salt to the stream such that precipitates are formed in the stream, wherein the precipitates comprise vivianite like structures comprising more than 60% of the initial amount of phosphate in the incoming stream, and preferably also the steps of: separating the vivianite like structures from the stream; and recovering the phosphates from the separated vivianite like structures.Type: GrantFiled: March 14, 2018Date of Patent: December 5, 2023Assignee: Kemira OyjInventors: Philipp Karl Wilfert, Leendert Date Korving, Peter Carlo Rem, Geert-Jan Witkamp, Marinus Cornelis Maria Van Loosdrecht, Achim Lulian Dugulan, Kees Goubitz, Simon Peter Maria Berkhout

Patent number: 4229021Abstract: A motor vehicle encompassing a chassis which includes a front and rear axle and a vehicle body which is supported upon the chassis by at least two connecting parts in such manner that the body may move in a translatory manner with respect to the chassis while being capable of pivoting about an axis located in the driving direction. Additionally, the support of at least one of each wheels springs is coordinated between the corresponding axle and the vehicle body. The connecting part includes a support column which, at its upper end, is elastically connected to the vehicle body by a substantially central bearing support and, at its lower end, is supported upon the chassis by several bearing supports.Type: GrantFiled: October 5, 1977Date of Patent: October 21, 1980Assignee: Daimler-Benz AktiengesellschaftInventors: Walter Schmid, Karl Wilfert, deceased, by Thomas Wilfert, legal heir

Patent number: 4099792Abstract: Wheel brake apparatus including a brake lining which is moveable into and out of engagement with a brake drum or break disk of a vehicle wheel to be braked. A measuring element is provided for detecting relative movement between the brake lining and the drum or disk. The brake lining is moved by way of a wheel brake piston acted upon by a pressure medium. In order to prevent a lock up of the brake, a controller piston is provided for controlling pressure medium flow to the brake piston in response to the detection of no relative movement between the brake lining and the brake disk or drum, which in turn corresponds to a complete braking action. In preferred embodiments, the controller piston controls a vent line communicating with the front and back of a braking control piston interposed between a master cylinder and the brake lining.Type: GrantFiled: August 30, 1976Date of Patent: July 11, 1978Assignee: Daimler-Benz AktiengesellschaftInventors: Walter Schmid, Arno Jambor, Karl Wilfert, deceased, by Thomas Wilfert, heir

Patent number: 4093255Abstract: A passenger motor vehicle with a lower portion that includes a front axle and a rear axle non-yieldingly interconnected with each other at least in the vehicle longitudinal direction, and an upper portion separate from the lower portion and including at least the passenger space, which is pivotal with respect to the lower portion at least in relation to an axis of instantaneous rotation extending in the vehicle transverse direction; the upper and lower portions are thereby connected with each other within the area of their axles by way of at least one support which has an elastic yieldingness in at least one direction.Type: GrantFiled: April 30, 1975Date of Patent: June 6, 1978Assignee: Daimler-Benz AktiengesellschaftInventors: Karl Wilfert, Walter Schmid

Patent number: 4045052Abstract: A passenger motor vehicle with a vehicle body means and with two axles carrying the body, and in which the body is supported with respect to at least one of the two axles by way of elastic axle guide elements and is rotatable at least with respect to this one axle about an axis of instantaneous rotation extending generally in the vehicle longitudinal direction and disposed at least approximately at the height of its center of gravity; the axle guide elements thereby form simultaneously spring elements for the vertical spring system of this one axle while the axle guide elements are of such construction that the vehicle body is transversely displaceable in a translatory manner with respect to this axle.Type: GrantFiled: April 30, 1975Date of Patent: August 30, 1977Assignee: Daimler-Benz AktiengesellschaftInventors: Karl Wilfert, Walter Schmid, Arno Jambor

Patent number: 3968977Abstract: A sign, for example, in the form of the company's trademark which is constructed as radiator figure adapted to be recessed and tilted by a force of predetermined magnitude; the radiator figure thereby normally projects above the body of the motor vehicle, particularly above the radiator or engine hood and is so constructed that the base of the radiator figure is mounted in a recess provided in the engine hood and carries a joint which permits a tilting over of the radiator figure into the recess so that neither parts of the radiator figure nor of the base thereof project beyond the edges of the recess.Type: GrantFiled: November 13, 1974Date of Patent: July 13, 1976Assignee: Daimler-Benz AktiengesellschaftInventor: Karl Wilfert

Patent number: 3951427Abstract: A shock-absorbing front wall for motor vehicles, especially passenger motor vehicles which includes several sections, arranged one above the other, of padded parts projecting into the vehicle interior and permanently deformable by the impact of a vehicle passenger caused by an accident; these sections which are arranged one above the other thereby possess different rigidities and/or thicknesses of the padding layer matched to the impinging body portions; an inflatable gas cushion may also form part of a respective section.Type: GrantFiled: April 4, 1974Date of Patent: April 20, 1976Assignee: Daimler-Benz AktiengesellschaftInventor: Karl Wilfert
