  • Publication number: 20240149181
Abstract: A body mounting assembly, model vehicle, and method for engaging a model vehicle body to a model vehicle chassis are provided. The body mounting assembly includes a latch assembly. The latch assembly further includes a latch member with a latch engagement surface. The body mounting assembly also includes a retainer assembly. The retainer assembly further includes a retainer engagement surface. The latch assembly is releasably engaged to the retainer assembly when the latch engagement surface and the retainer engagement surface are interlock together. A body mount able to be coupled to a model vehicle body includes one of the latch assembly or the retainer assembly and a chassis mount able to be coupled to the model vehicle chassis includes the other corresponding retainer assembly or the latch assembly corresponding to the body mount.

The retainer assembly further includes a retainer engagement surface. The latch assembly is releasably engaged to the retainer assembly when the latch engagement surface and the retainer engagement surface are interlock together. The latch engagement surface and the retainer engagement surface comprise negative engagement angles. A body mount able to be coupled to a model vehicle body includes one of the latch assembly or the retainer assembly and a chassis mount able to be coupled to the model vehicle chassis includes the other corresponding retainer assembly or the latch assembly corresponding to the body mount.

  • Publication number: 20070142041
Abstract: A method for controlling the communication functionality of a mobile phone in which configuration data is provided (104) and received (108). Voice calls using the mobile phone are controlled (110) by impeding or limiting the ability to conduct such calls to encourage use of alternative communication such as SMS text messaging.

  • Publication number: 20060193483
Abstract: A method and system enabling a user to request volume control of another users device according to an agreed policy containing criteria is described. A first device receives (60) a radio message from a second device, accesses (62) the policy to determine (64) whether or not (65,66) to adjust (68) the output volume in dependence on the criteria, and acknowledges the message (70). The system and method may be implemented in communal living buildings such as hotels or halls of residence, with the policy centrally maintained. Hence, criteria such as threshold volume levels and quiet periods may be negotiated between users and defined in the policy. Request messages and acknowledgements may be stored in a log and used in the event of repeated disputes concerning loud music and antisocial behaviour between neighbouring device owners.

  • Publication number: 20060058997
Abstract: A method for identifying an audio signal from a set of audio signals. A user preference (106) is received (104). The set of audio signals is concurrently received (108), for example from a number of radio sources. The audio signals are analysed (110) to extract features (112). Audio signals are identified (114) based on a comparison of the user preference (106) and extracted features (112). Optionally, the identified audio signals are outputted (116).

  • Publication number: 20060010256
Abstract: A server-based data processing system (10) is provided for enabling interaction between users of a massive multi-player role playing game (MMRPG) or similar application in which a virtual environment (20) is represented geographically as a plurality of cells (22) arranged in a matrix for example. Game state data relating to the individual cells is broadcast from the server (12) to respective user-interface apparatus (14) such as mobile phone devices. Each cell is associated with one channel allowing the user-interface apparatus to receive the channel associated with the cell in which the respective user is represented. The association between cells of the virtual environment and broadcast channels enables the user-interface devices to reject unwanted state data by simply tuning to the desired channel. This is particularly beneficial for low power, low memory devices.

  • Publication number: 20050277476
Abstract: A method of operating a computer game program (10;20) comprising the steps of, loading the computer game program, executing the computer game program, receiving instructions from a user interface, changing the game status according to the instructions, and charging a user to store the game status. The excitement of playing the game is increased for a user whilst increasing the profitability for right-owners of the game. The system may be an integrated computer device, such as a PC, or a distributed architecture.

  • Publication number: 20050150855
Abstract: A container for injectable medicines includes an inner wall and an outer wall, with a sterile environment disclosed therebetween. A method for using the container includes inserting a needle for a hypodermic syringe through a seal in the outer wall, and intaking sterile air into the syringe. The hypodermic needle is then inserted through a seal in the inner wall and into the medicine contained therein. A proper dosage of the medicine is then intaken into the syringe, and it is withdrawn from the medicine container.
