  • Patent number: 6772697
Abstract: The invention concerns an arrangement of service positions for maintenance apparatus, which can travel on a guide rail along a multiplicity of similar workstations on a first side of a textile machine, wherein a maintenance apparatus in a first service position at the elevation of a machine framing of the textile machine can be pivoted away from, or transversely withdrawn from the guide rail. Per side of the textile machine, at least two maintenance apparatuses are exclusively assigned thereto, whereby the guide rail on the first side, at least at one end of the textile machine, is elongated beyond the textile machine and a second service position is placed on the elongated guide rail. In this way, it becomes possible, with a large number of workstations to assure the shortest possible duration of a standstill, wherein in the case of a failure or preventive unkeep of one maintenance apparatus, another maintenance apparatus can serve a workstation in a short time.

  • Publication number: 20030089266
Abstract: The invention concerns an arrangement of service positions (A1, A3, B2, B4) for maintenance apparatuses (14a-14d), which can travel on a guide rail (15, 16) along a multiplicity of similar workstations (13) on a first side of a textile machine (10), wherein a maintenance apparatus (14a, 14d) in a first service position (B2, B4) at the elevation of a machine framing (12) of the textile machine can be pivoted away from, or transversely withdrawn from the guide rail (15, 16). In accord with the invention, per side of the textile machine (10) at least two maintenance apparatuses (14a-14c) are exclusively assigned thereto, whereby the guide rail (15, 16) on the first side at least at one end of the textile machine (10) is elongated beyond the said textile machine and a second service position (A1, A3) is placed on the elongated guide rail (15-16).

  • Publication number: 20030070414
Abstract: The invention concerns exchangeable machine components (20, 30, 40, 50) of a spinning machine in a spinning works, upon each, in accord with the invention, a corresponding identification recognition symbol (21, 31, 41, 51) is placed, in such a manner that said symbol is in a location of simple accessibility for reading. By means of sensors (22, 32, 42, 52) the identification recognition symbol (21, 31, 41, 51) is automatically detectable, and stored so that the configuration of a spinning station can be immediately called up. The configuration data are thus available for a monitoring and service system, such as, for instance, a remote diagnostic system.

  • Patent number: 5765356
Abstract: In a spinning machine with a tube magazine (1) several tube mandrils (3) placed on a conveyor are provided for the placement of a tube (4) at a time. At a removal station (2) a take-up device 21 to take up individual tubes (4) from the tube magazine (1) is provided. A nose (13) is provided at the free end of the tube mandril (3). The length (L) of the tube mandril (3) between conveyor and nose (13) is greater than the length (I) of the tube (4). The nose (13) has a smaller outside diameter (d) than the inside diameter (D) of the tube (4). A device to lift the tube (4) is provided at the removal station (2).

  • Patent number: 5421150
Abstract: In a textile machine, the machine frame is provided with frame walls made of sheet metal, each of which being made as a bearing element. For this purpose the frame walls are provided with 90 degree offset edges and are connected by combined plug-in and screw connections to connection elements and via the latter to at least one additional frame wall and receive structural and function elements by additional combined plug-in and screw connections.
