  • Patent number: 6319968
Abstract: An acoustically effective, bituminous mass which can be applied hot by means of a flat extrusion mold contains an addition of a thermosetting resin or thermosetting reagent combination, plus bitumen, polymers and/or wax as well as fillers such as aluminum powder or zinc powder, powdered graphite or mica powder. This addition is added to the mass at temperatures under 125° C., so that the polymerization reaction does not occur until a subsequent heating.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: May 14, 1999
Date of Patent: November 20, 2001
Assignee: CWW-Gerko Akustik GmbH & Co. KG
    Inventors: Karlheinz Bildner, Zdislaw Kornacki
  • Patent number: 5823301
Abstract: A brake pad has a support made of two metal sheets bonded together by a damping layer. The damping layer is formed exclusively from a crosslinked plastic adhesive in a thickness of about 75 .mu.m to 100 .mu.m, and is either a peroxide-crosslinked polyacrylate or a peroxide-crosslinked silicone adhesive.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: December 10, 1996
Date of Patent: October 20, 1998
Assignee: CWW-Gerko Akustik GmbH & Co. KG
    Inventors: Karlheinz Bildner, Christoph Freist
  • Patent number: 4833018
Abstract: Bubble-formation when melting a magnetically adhering bituminous soundproofing sheet provided with a hot-melt adhesive layer (4) onto an automobile body sheet metal at temperatures of about 190.degree. C., is prevented by integrating a flexible, temperature-resistant foil (5) into the soundproofing sheet. For soundproofing sheets up to 3 mm thick, the spacing between the hot-melt layer (4) and the foil (5) preferably should not exceed 1 mm.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: March 29, 1988
Date of Patent: May 23, 1989
    Assignee: Ruetgerswerke Aktiengesellschaft
    Inventors: Karl Ruehl, Karlheinz Bildner
  • Patent number: 4618521
Abstract: A corrosion protective sheet for adhesion to steel sheets which is made from elastomers and natural resin modified bitumen and which contains up to about 10% organic and or inorganic fibrous material. The sheet is coated on the underside with a melt adhesive and on the upper side with a bitumen resistant anti-block material which provides a solid sheet at a temperature under 90.degree. C. No separation sheets are needed and the adherence of the sheet on the steel surface to be protected is improved and the upper surface is rendered resistant to penetration.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: January 18, 1985
Date of Patent: October 21, 1986
    Assignee: Rutgerswerke Aktiengesellschaft
    Inventors: Karl Ruhl, Karlheinz Bildner
  • Patent number: 4473606
Abstract: An anticorrosion perforated foil for fusion onto metal substrates comprising 60 to 90% by weight of bitumen, 0.5 to 7% by weight of styrene-butadiene rubber, 5 to 25% by weight of a bitumen modified with polymers, 0.5 to 7.5% by weight of natural resin and 0.5 to 10% by weight of organic and/or inorganic fibers stable at above 160.degree. C. and its preparation and a method of protecting metal elements from corrosion.
