  • Publication number: 20160115528
Abstract: What is shown is a measuring device for simultaneously analyzing melting curves of DNA samples in DNA microarrays with the aid of a fluorescence detector array. Embodiments show monitoring of melting curves of DNA microarrays (dynamic fluorescence measurement) by means of silicon photomultipliers (SiPM) or other photodetectors such as, e.g., PIN diodes (positive intrinsic negative diodes), avalanche photodiodes (APD), or photomultiplier tubes (PMT). The DNA microarray is applied, along with a thin-film heating element, to a substrate made of plastic or glass or is integrated in a microfluidic channel.

  • Publication number: 20130210032
Abstract: A device for detecting a sensory perception with regard to an analyte, having a sensor system and an organic receptor cell for detecting the sensory perception. The organic receptor cell is designed to assume a cellular state, which depends on the analyte in contact with the receptor cell. The sensor system is designed to determine the cellular state and to output it to the cellular state signal, which indicates the cellular state.

  • Patent number: 7644487
Abstract: In a method of producing a conductor pattern on a substrate and, in particular, of producing RFID labels, the conductive base material and the substrate material are initially provided, further the conductive base material is punched to obtain a conductor pattern and a residual base material. The conductor pattern is connected to the substrate material, and the residual base material is removed.

  • Patent number: 7635497
Abstract: A method for producing a system with a substrate with a surface and a component applied to a predetermined location of the surface of the substrate includes a step of generating a liquid volume containing the component and a step of applying the liquid volume containing the component on the surface of the substrate. At that, the liquid volume is sized so that it wets only a partial area of the surface of the substrate after its application. In the step of applying the liquid volume is placed on the surface of the substrate so that the partial area of the surface includes the predetermined location. The component or the predetermined location of the surface of the substrate is implemented so that after the application of the liquid volume a force acts on the component which is sufficient to drive the component within the liquid volume to the predetermined location. The method is completely independent of the speed of a gripper and its capability to grip and align a very small component.
