  • Patent number: 6663157
Abstract: A removable motor vehicle seat includes a locking mechanism, an operating element for triggering the locking mechanism and at least one electric and/or pneumatic interface which has a detachable connector element. A contact mechanism is provided for connecting and/or disconnecting the connector element which is forcibly coupled to the locking mechanism so that removal or installation of the vehicle seat takes place in at least two chronologically successive phases wherein in one phase exclusively a connection/disconnection of the connector element takes place and in the other phase exclusively a locking/unlocking of the vehicle seat takes place. The removable vehicle seat ensures an automatic functionally reliable connection and disconnection of the electric and/or pneumatic components of a vehicle seat during the installation and dismantling of the seat.

  • Patent number: 6393888
Abstract: In a spring winding device for producing right-hand or left-hand helical springs from wire, with pull-in rollers, a wire guide and two winding apparatuses, each of which has a slide guide body with a slide displaceably arranged therein, every slide guide body is swivelable at its end remote of the wire guide around a swiveling axis directed vertical to the wire guide axis. The two winding apparatuses lie on different sides of the center plane, with a drive for the movement of the slide and a cam drive controlled by a cam disk for swiveling the slide guide body. A shared cam disk with two control portions and at least one rest portion is allocated to the two cam drives. Each control portion serves to introduce controlling movements in one of the two cam drives, while the rest portion, or every rest portion, does not introduce any controlling movements in the cam drive.

  • Patent number: 6257641
Abstract: An arrangement for contacting of electronic components (for example, seat occupation detection sensors, buckle switches) in a removable vehicle seat which can be mechanically detached from its vehicle-body-side anchoring by means of a seat unlocking device. In order to unlock the seat, a plug-type connection must first be separated manually by the operator. Only then will the unlocking of the seat be released. In another embodiment, an electric plug-type connection is provided which, during the installation and removal of the seat, automatically makes or breaks contact because of the relative movement of the seat.
