    Abstract: An agitating mill in whose cylindrical grinding container a mixing shaft is disposed, is to be partially filled with grinding media. The mixing shaft is made hollow and coolable. Substantially radially projecting discs are mounted on the mixing shaft, with mixing bars fastened to the discs. The discs can be made in the form of coolable hollow discs.
