  • Patent number: 11034220
Abstract: A protective device including a flexible fabric shiftable longitudinally between different functional positions, and provided on opposite side edges with respective stiffening strips guided in a manner shiftable longitudinally in vehicle-mounted guide tracks. A pull-out profile extends transversely with respect to the longitudinal shifting direction of the fabric and is connected to an end region thereof. The pull-out profile is guided in the vehicle-mounted guide tracks by guide elements, and each stiffening strip is fastened on the end side to a respective guide element. Each stiffening strip has at least three receptacles provided one behind another in the longitudinal shifting direction, and the guide element is assigned at least three profiling portions spaced apart from one another in the longitudinal shifting direction and projecting into the receptacles in a form-fitting manner transversely with respect to the longitudinal shifting direction.

  • Patent number: 9778484
Abstract: An optical element has a substrate body made from transparent plastic and a coating having multiple layers. The coating includes a hard lacquer layer adjoining the substrate. The coating has a diffusivity ensuring the absorption of water molecules passing through the coating in the substrate and the release of water molecules from the substrate through the coating from an air atmosphere on that side of the coating facing away from the substrate with a flow density which, proceeding from the equilibrium state of the quantity of water molecules absorbed in the substrate in an air atmosphere at 23° C. and 50% relative humidity, brings the setting of the equilibrium state of the quantity of water molecules absorbed in the substrate in an air atmosphere at 40° C. and 95% relative humidity within an interval not more than 10 h longer than for setting this equilibrium under corresponding conditions with an identical uncoated substrate.

  • Patent number: 9310521
Abstract: The invention relates to a spectacle lens semi-finished or finished product with a front surface, a rear surface, a cylinder rim surface, a front edge surface with a front surface transition to the front surface and a front cylinder rim surface transition to the cylinder rim surface and/or a rear edge surface with a rear surface transition to the rear surface and a rear cylinder rim surface transition to the cylinder rim surface. The front surface transition is formed as a rounding and/or the rear surface transition is formed as a rounding.

  • Patent number: 8146226
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for attaching guide means (106) to a flexible sheet (100), preferably as part of a shading system for a vehicle, and to a device provided therefor. Holding regions (102a, 102b), spaced apart from one another in a Y-direction, of a flexible sheet (100) extending in an X-direction and a Y-direction are spaced apart from one another by being acted upon with a predetermined pretensioning force (Fv) acting in the Y-direction, with the result that a pretension state is achieved. Subsequently, in a further processing state which corresponds to the pretension state or to a pretension state relieved by the amount of a predetermined relief distance (S3) in the Y-direction with respect to the pretension state, guide means (106) extending parallel to one another in the X-direction and spaced apart from one another in the Y-direction are fastened to the sheet (100).
