Abstract: The present invention relates to a system and method for enhancing the usage of a social networking site by facilitating a privileged and restricted access to the content. The social networking site facilitates the privileged and restricted access to the content by registering the primary user(s) with the social networking site and by granting access tiers to the content based on which the authorized secondary user(s) can access the content. Further, the online edits tracked for the content associated with the primary user(s) is notified to the secondary user(s).
