Abstract: A panel for prefabricated metal buildings according to the present invention has a trough section which is deeper than that which can normally be obtained by a cold roll forming operation. The deep trough section is achieved by using a center web joint to connect a plurality of oppositely disposed U-shaped sections to one another to form the panel. The sections are connected by flanges which project outwardly from the side walls of the sections and the connection may be achieved by a crimping operation or by means of a plurality of clamps.
