    Abstract: An integral image device comprises an image array of cells of an image plane. Each cell is an area of an image plane comprising image structures. The image structures are embossed and/or printed structures. The integral image device further comprises a focusing element array of focusing elements. The image array and the focusing element array are conformed. The array of focusing elements is provided at a distance from the array of cells that is close to a focal length of the focusing elements. The image structures comprise a basic image structure superimposed by an intensity adaptation. The basic image structures, when viewed through the focusing elements in a viewing direction, give rise to a scene of an integral image. The intensity adaptation is provided for giving intensity differences.

    Abstract: An integral image device, comprises a focusing element array of focusing elements in a focusing element plane and an image array of cells in an image plane. The cells comprise structures that are optically distinguishable. The image plane is situated at a distance from the focusing element plane being in a vicinity of a focal length of the focusing elements. The structures together provide an integral image when being viewed through the focusing elements. The structures of each individual cell are individually adapted to provide different scenes of the integral image for different angles in which the integral image is viewed. The dimensional models comprises at least one three-dimensional model.

    Abstract: A method for manufacturing integral image devices comprises defining (210) of a set of digital model representations of a set of models. The method comprises calculation (212) of a digital projection representation of the set of digital model representations onto a plurality of virtual cells as viewed from a respective one of a plurality of projection origins. Each virtual cell has at least one pixel corresponds to an associated model. The associated model is allocated in dependence of the projection angle. Structures corresponding to the virtual cells are physically created (220) in cells at an image plane of a device, distributed according to an image array. The creation is controlled by the digital projection representation. A plurality of focusing elements of the device is physically created (230), distributed according to a focusing element array. The image array and the focusing element array are created in conformity with each other.
