  • Patent number: 10238998
Abstract: A backflush filter for liquid media, having a filter housing, which is formed by means of at least one supporting cage, which has at least two groups of slot-type apertures, and at least one filtering means supported on the supporting cage, where-in the apertures of each group extend in parallel alignment with one another and are separated from one another by ribs, and having a backflushing device, which is arranged in the interior of the filter insert, is rotatable and has at least one slit, said backflushing device being designed for flushing of the filtering means via the slit and apertures. The direction of motion of the backflushing device can be reversed during the backflush cycle and a filter insert therefore, wherein the backflush filter and the filter insert include a filtering means having a pleated, preferably multi-ply, filter fabric or filter cloth with pleating folds, and the ribs fit by means of a rib front into respective pleating folds.

  • Publication number: 20130306546
Abstract: A reversible-flow filter with a filter insert in a filter housing, the inner space of which being connected to a fluid inlet, an outlet and a backwash device being rotatable and having a backwash body with a washing gap, reaching near the surface of the filter wall, for cleaning off the filter wall in backwash operation. The backwash device is coupled at one axial end to a rotary drive and at its other end to a sludge discharge. The backwash body having a suckaway slot openable into the inner space, separate from the washing gap and having a larger opening cross-section than the washing gap, wherein the backwash device has a hollow shaft partially movable in relation to the backwash body and rotatable for connecting the washing gap or suckaway slot to the sludge discharge as a function of the relative position between the backwash body and the hollow shaft.

  • Publication number: 20110073550
Abstract: The disclosure relates to a filter apparatus together with a method for the filtration of liquids, such as, in particular, water, with a housing with an inlet and a filtrate outlet for filtered liquid, with a filter means which is arranged in the flow path of the liquid between the inlet and the filtrate outlet for filtering out particles from the liquid, and with a dirt discharge via which filtered-out particles can be discharged from the housing, the filtrate outlet being assigned an outlet valve and the dirt discharge being assigned a discharge valve. According to the disclosure, the outlet valve and the discharge valve are coupled in such a way that the discharge valve opens the dirt discharge only when the outlet valve has at least partially shut off the filtrate outlet, in order thereby to generate a cleaning pulse.
