  • Patent number: 11241937
Abstract: A method for controlling air conditioning devices in a transportation vehicle wherein, upon the recording of an operator's air conditioning need and a conversion of the need into an air conditioning function for an air conditioning device, the implementability of the air conditioning need is compared with an influencing variable measured by a sensor. In response to the air conditioning need being recognized as implementable, information asserting this fact is issued to the operator. An apparatus for performing the method.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: April 25, 2018
Date of Patent: February 8, 2022
Inventors: Anna-Lena Giesert, Andreas Kaiser, Malte Lansmann, Zeno Wolze, Oliver Hengstenberg, Jens Baumgarten, Markus Berg, Jan Effertz, Karsten Helms, Frank Andres

  • Patent number: 7900466
Abstract: An air-conditioning system for a motor vehicle includes a coolant circuit, through which it is possible to pump coolant with the aid of a compressor, the air-conditioning system having a torque-determining unit for determining a drive torque required for operating the compressor as a function of a temperature of air, which has flowed past an evaporator integrated into the coolant circuit for evaporating coolant, a pressure of the coolant prevailing in the coolant circuit in front of the compressor relative to a flow direction of the coolant or an actuating signal for setting a settable compressor stroke of the compressor.

  • Publication number: 20080302878
Abstract: In a method for regulating an air-conditioning system of a vehicle whose top is open, air whose temperature and mass flow rate are regulated as a function of at least the control variables of the setpoint temperature of the passenger compartment and the actual temperature of the passenger compartment being fed to a passenger compartment of the vehicle via a plurality of vent openings. The speed of the vehicle is measured and, when it increases, the air-mass flow rate, which is fed to the passenger compartment through vent openings at lower positions, is reduced and the air-mass flow rate, which is fed to the passenger compartment through vent openings at higher positions, is increased.
