Publication number: 20230202772Abstract: A device and a method for transferring piece goods between adjacent conveyor sections. A central pivot deflector between the conveyor sections and/or one or two outer pivot deflectors disposed on the outer sides of the conveyor sections can be pivoted about their pivot axes between first and second transfer positions and a passage position. In the transfer position, the pivoting deflector(s) block one of the conveyor sections obliquely from the outer side towards the center strip, so that an item of piece goods is transferred from one conveyor section to the other conveyor section. The pivoting deflectors are mounted substantially at the same level as the conveyor sections in both transfer positions. Thus piece goods can be transferred optionally from the first to the second conveyor section or vice versa at the same level. No item of piece goods is affected in the passage position.Type: ApplicationFiled: April 20, 2021Publication date: June 29, 2023Inventors: Robert Feilke, Karsten Hesse

Patent number: 8652279Abstract: The invention relates to a method for the production of sandwich components with an open core structure and a cover layer applied to each side, wherein the cover layers are formed with a curable plastic material, and the sandwich component is cured in a closed device under pressure. A charging gas, which may be nitrogen or air, is introduced to the core structure prior to at least partial solidification of the cover layers, wherein a charging gas pressure p Charging gas is selected that is less than or equal to an operating pressure p operating of the closed device in order to, in particular, at least largely prevent the formation of sink marks in the cover layers. Furthermore, the invention relates to a press for implementing the method.Type: GrantFiled: August 23, 2006Date of Patent: February 18, 2014Assignee: Airbus Operations GmbHInventors: Karsten Hesse, Heinz-Peter Busch

Publication number: 20130243998Abstract: The present invention relates to sandwich component and a method for producing such sandwich component. In addition to a viscoelastic layer disposed between a honeycomb-like core layer and one of two cover layers of the sandwich component a porous layer is provided which is attached the viscoelastic layer at the side of the viscoelastic layer facing away from the cover layer between which and the core layer the viscoelastic layer is disposed. The porous layer has a higher compressive strength than the viscoelastic layer. The sandwich panel may be produced by forming a corresponding layered structure including the layers of the sandwich panel and subsequently applying heat and/or pressure to said layered structure in order to produce the sandwich component.Type: ApplicationFiled: March 7, 2013Publication date: September 19, 2013Inventors: Tobias Preuss, Lionel Winkelmann, Peter Turanski, Hanno Alpeter, Karsten Hesse

Patent number: 8242035Abstract: A textile web material impregnated with a mixture that contains at least a prepolymer prepolymerized from a starting material of one or more bifunctional or polyfunctional organic cyanates and from a starting material of one or more bifunctional or polyfunctional aromatic alcohols, wherein the one or more bifunctional or polyfunctional organic cyanates and the one or more bifunctional or polyfunctional aromatic alcohols are present in weight ratios ensuring a molar ratio of the OCN groups to the OH groups between 95:5 and 70:30 prior to prepolymerization. The mixture further contains one or more fillers.Type: GrantFiled: May 11, 2007Date of Patent: August 14, 2012Assignees: Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft zur Förderung der angewandten Forschung e.V., Airbus Operations GmbHInventors: Monika Bauer, Rajko Wurzel, Christoph Uhlig, Dietmar Völkle, Volker Müller, Karsten Hesse, Wilfried Michaelis

Patent number: 8006722Abstract: A pipeline for conducting air for air conditioning in aircrafts includes a body portion formed with foamed plastics material or with a dense plastics material. The body portion defines a longitudinal axis and includes an outer surface carrying a wrapping for reinforcing the pipeline. The wrapping includes a plurality of adjacent contacting layers formed by at least one linear reinforcing element wound into a plurality of windings, with adjacent layers having windings angled in opposite directions to form a net-like structure of the wrapping. At least one of the spacing between the windings along the longitudinal axis or the angle of slope between the windings and the longitudinal axis varies in certain sections to change the winding density as a function of local mechanical load requirements on the pipeline.Type: GrantFiled: May 15, 2006Date of Patent: August 30, 2011Assignee: Airbus Deutschland GmbHInventors: Karsten Hesse, Heinz-Peter Busch, Hans-Jürgen Schelling

Publication number: 20090321009Abstract: The invention relates to a method for the production of sandwich components with an open core structure 2 and a cover layer 1, 3 applied to each side, wherein the cover layers 1, 3 are formed with a curable plastic material, and the sandwich component is cured in a closed device under pressure. According to the invention, a charging gas, in particular nitrogen or air, is introduced to the core structure 2 prior to at least partial solidification of the cover layers 1, 3, wherein a charging gas pressure pCharging gas is selected that is less than or equal to an operating pressure pOperating of the closed device in order to, in particular, at least largely prevent the formation of sink marks in the cover layers (1, 3). Furthermore, the invention relates to a press for implementing the method.Type: ApplicationFiled: August 23, 2006Publication date: December 31, 2009Applicant: Airbus DeutschlandInventors: Karsten Hesse, Heinz-Peter Busch

Publication number: 20090260706Abstract: The invention relates to a pipeline 1, 34 for conducting air, in particular in a temperature range between ?55° C. and +85° C. and at a differential pressure load of at most ±500 hPa relative to cabin pressure, for air conditioning in aircrafts. According to the invention, the pipeline 1, 34 is formed with a foamed plastics material and/or with a dense plastics material, one outer face 9, 36 of the pipeline and/or one inner face 17 of the pipeline comprising a wrapping 6, 37 with at least one linear reinforcing element, in particular with resin-impregnated carbon fibers or glass fibers for reinforcement, at least in certain sections. Owing to the winding 6, 37 provided for reinforcement, at least in certain sections, on the outer face 9, 36 of the pipeline and/or the inner face 17 of the pipeline, the pipeline 1, 34 can be optimally adapted to different load requirements along the section for laying, resulting in a potentially considerable reduction in weight.Type: ApplicationFiled: May 15, 2006Publication date: October 22, 2009Applicant: AIRBUS DEUTSCHLAND GMBHInventors: Karsten Hesse, Heinz-Peter Busch, Hans-Jurgen Schelling
