  • Patent number: 10680497
Abstract: The invention relates to a housing (10) for an electrical machine (50) and to an electrical machine (50) having such a housing (10). The housing (10) comprises an inner wall (12) and an outer wall (14), with a hollow space (16) therebetween for cooling the electrical machine (50) with a fluid. The housing (10) further has a sealing device (24, 26) on a front face (22, 23) of the housing (10). The housing is particularly characterised in that the sealing device (24, 26) comprises an annular sealing element (28) mounted between the inner wall (12) and the outer wall (14) so as to seal the front face, and in that the sealing device (24, 26) comprises a deflection ridge (30) which projects from the sealing element (28) in the axial direction of the housing (10) and is at least partially arranged between the walls (12, 14), the deflection ridge (30) being designed to lead a cooling fluid in the hollow space (16). A compact, economical and fluid-tight housing (10) can thus be advantageously provided.

  • Patent number: 10476343
Abstract: The invention relates to a heat sink (1) for an electric machine, which heat sink has at least one cooling channel (7), which adjoins an interior (3) surrounded by the heat sink (1). The heat sink (1) is characterized in that the heat sink (1) is designed as a single-piece plate (5) bent into a closed ring, in the case of which plate two opposite abutting surfaces (19, 21) are connected to each other in a fluid-tight manner in the region of a joint (17), wherein a plurality of closed channels (7) extend in the plate (5), which channels extend at an angle to the circumferential direction of the ring in such a way that adjacent channels (7) lead into each other in the region of the joint (17) and thus form a continuous, spiral channel, which extends in a plurality of spiral turns from an axially front end (22) to an axially rear end (24) of the annular heat sink (1).

  • Publication number: 20040062026
Abstract: In a method for manufacturing an operating element having a lightable lettering, a color imparting top coat is applied to a transparent part of the operating element which bears the lettering, the lettering is produced by partial removal of the top coat, a base coat, e.g. having a high contrast with the top coat, is applied to the transparent part before applying the top coat, and the lettering is produced by partial removal of at least the top coat. In an operating element having a lightable lettering, a part of the operating element which is made of a transparent material and bears the lettering is covered by a top coat, the lettering being implemented by partial removal of the top coat. A base coat, e.g. having a high contrast with the top coat, may be applied to the transparent part beneath the top coat, and the lettering may be implemented by partial removal of at least the top coat.
