  • Publication number: 20230110903
Abstract: An insulation medium for an electric energy transfer device. The insulation medium is a fluid at room temperature and at atmospheric pressure and the insulation medium includes at least the following components: >50 vol. % to <99 vol. % synthetic air, and >1 vol. % to <50 vol. % of an organic fluorine compound. Oxygen may be present at no more than 0.5 vol. %, or no more than 0.1 vol. %, or less.

  • Patent number: 7795541
Abstract: Supports for high or medium voltage electrical conductors (6, 7) at potentials different from the potential of an enclosure (1) are supported by disc-shaped parts (4, 5) made from thermoplastic polyester, for example terephthalate polyethylene. The discs (4 and 5) provide good insulation without largely disturbing the electrical field around the conductors due to their fairly low dielectric constant. They are also compatible with use under SF6 gas.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: September 28, 2005
Date of Patent: September 14, 2010
    Assignee: Areva T&D AG
Inventors: Hugo Hiltbrunner, Gerardo Palmieri, Karsten Pohlink, Christian Tschannen, Jean-Luc Bessede, Yannick Kieffel
  • Patent number: 7532452
Abstract: A highly temperature-stable capacitor for taking measurements on a high-voltage line, said capacitor having a high-voltage electrode (HT), an annular printed circuit (CI) surrounding said high-voltage electrode (HT) coaxially and having at least one electrically conductive track that forms a low-voltage electrode (BT), said capacitor being characterized in that the printed circuit (CI) also has at least one temperature-sensitive resistor (TH).
    Type: Grant

Date of Patent: May 12, 2009
    Assignee: Areva T&D SA

  • Patent number: 7357656
Abstract: A disconnection device is designed to separate a first portion of an electrical circuit electrically from a second portion of said circuit, the disconnection device including: at least one pair of contacts, one of which contacts is a moving contact, the pair of contacts having an open state and a closed state and a flexible conductor fixed at one end to the moving contact and serving to be fixed at the other end to one of the portions of the electrical circuit. The conductor comprises a flexible tube that is electrically conductive, at least at a surface portion thereof, and that has bending stiffness that is low enough to enable it to bend without kinking, and torsion stiffness that is high enough to enable it to take up a shape and a position that are substantially reproducible at least in the closed state. The device is used in particular in gas-insulated high-voltage electricity substations.

  • Publication number: 20050258140
Abstract: The invention relates to disconnection device designed to separate a first portion (11.1) of an electrical circuit (11) electrically from a second portion (11.2) of said circuit, the disconnection device comprising: at least one pair of contacts (16), one of which contacts (16.2) is a moving contact, the pair of contacts having an open state and a closed state; and a flexible conductor (21) fixed at one end to the moving contact (16.2) and serving to be fixed at the other end to one of the portions (11.1) of the electrical circuit. The conductor comprises a flexible tube (21) that is electrically conductive, at least at its surface, and that has bending stiffness that is low enough to enable it to bend without kinking, and torsion stiffness that is high enough to enable it to take up a shape and a position that are substantially reproducible at least in the closed state. Application in particular to gas-insulated high-voltage electricity substations.
